Notes
  1.

Measurements in the columns to the right are in acres, rodes and pole (or perch).
          1 acre =   4 rode
          1 rode = 40 pole

  2. "i" and "j" are were used interchangeably.
  3. "shotethe" does not appear in reference books. "Shot" was another word for selion, which was the cultivated strip in the open field system.  However, this meaning does not make sense in the context of this document; rather "shotethe" appears to mean "adjoining" or "next to".
  4. "sideling" or "sydelinge" does not appear in reference books.  It might be a measurement.
  5. "balke" is the unploughed strips running between the cultivated strips in the open field system.
