1708 conveyance

1708 conveyance of the lordship of Hanslope

Summary

This conveyance records the sale of the Manor and Lordship of Hanslopp also Hanslap and a number of farms, land and cottages by a large group of people and to the Right Honourable Gervas Lord Pierrepont Baron of Arglass in the Kingdom of Ireland. It seems likely that the previous owners were the Tyrrell family who had mortgaged the properties and the other persons named as sellers were mortgagees.
