A group of Hanslope 'old-timers'. This photograph, taken outside the Cock public house, appeared in the 6 July 1929 edition of the Bucks Standard. It is thought that the occasion was an outing for gentlemen of the village who were over 70 years of age, organised by Fred Belham who ran the bus service in the village from a base on Gold Street opposite the Watts Arms.
