Memorandum that on ffriday night August the 9th 1672 Elizabeth Smith late of Hanslope in the County of Buckingham widdow deceased being then of perfect mind and memory Did make and declare her Last will and Testament nuncupative by word of mouth in manner and forme following (viz) I nominate and appoint John Parrott my sole Executor I give and bequeath to my neece Marke Parrott the wife of the said John Parrott And to her Child and Children if she hath more All that I have either in goods or money except the following Legacies to be paid by my Executor ffirst to my Sister Anne the wife of Robert Arter of Husband Crawley ffive pounds Item to my Neece Elizabeth Hillier the daughter of my Brother John Hillier as much as being Added to a Debt due from her ffather will make up ffive pounds And to the poore of Hanslope Twenty Shillings And Twenty shillings to the poore of North Crawley which words or words to the same effect she the said Deceased uttered and spake with an intent and purpose that they should stand for and be her last Will and Testament in the presence and heareing of William Burton Clerk and William Hilyer and other Credible witnessses William Burton and William Hillyer Proved 12th day of September 1672 |
