In the name of god Amen The 12th daie of June in the yeare of the raigne of our Soveraigne lord James by the grace of god of England ffrance and Ireland kinge defender of the faith etc the 13th and of Scotland the 48th  Anno din 1615:  I Rumbold Emerton of Hanslapp in the countie of Bucks: yeoman, beinge sicke in bodie, but of good minde and perfect remembrance blessed be god revoakeinge and disanullinge all former Wills and testaments whatsoever by me made, doe heareby ordaine and make this my last will and testament in manner and forme followinge:  that is to saie:  ffirst I bequeath and comend my soule into the mercifull protection of allmightie god, the father sonne and hold ghoste verely beleevinge, that in and through the mercies of god in Jesus Christe my onely lord and saviour, all my sinnes are freely forgiven me, and that I am theareby made partaker of everlastinge life, my bodie I comitt to the earth theare to remayne in hope untill the resurrection of the same to glory: Item I give and bequeath unto Jane Kinge my god daughter xx s of currant english mony, to be paide unto the saide Jane when  she shall accomplishe the age of xxj yeares:  Item I give and bequeath unto Hellen Oakley one other of my god daughters xx s of currant englishe mony to be paide unto the saide Hellen, when she shall accomplishe the age of xxj yeares:    Item I give and bequeath to Mathew Emerton one of the daughters of my brother Richard Emerton x s of currant englishe mony to be paide unto the saide Mathewe when she shall come to the age of xxj yeares: Item I give and bequeath unto Sarah Emerton one other of the daughters of my saide brother Richard Emerton x s of currant englishe mony to be paide unto the saide Sara when she shall come to the age of xxj yeares: Item the rest of my goodes, Chattells and  householde stuffe, and leases whatsoever with the use and benefitt theareof in whose handes or possession or whearesoever they or any of them be or shallbe found, my debtes, legacies and funerall chardges first satisfied and paied  I give and bequeath unto Alice Emerton my wife, whome I doe heareby ordaine and make the full sole and onely executrix of this my last will and testament  In witnes wheareof I have to these present set my hand and seale and published the same to be my last will and testament in the presence of those whose names are under written:  Signed sealed and published in the presence of  Fraunces Giffard  Henry Newman  Mathew Horne
