In the Name of God Amen I Christopher Elliss of Hanslop in the County of Bucks yeoman being sick in Body but of sound and perfect memory doe make and Ordaine this my last will and Testament in manner and fforme ffollowing ffirst and foremost I doe bequeath mt Soule into the hands of God my Creator and my Body to the Earth to be Buryed in decent manner by my Executors hereafter named  And as for my worldly Goods That it hath Bin pleased the Lord my God to give me I doe dispose of as ffolloweth  Item I give to my Sonn Barnard Elliss the sume of One Hundred pounds to be paid to him by my Sonn Christopher Elliss when he shall attaine the Age of one and Twenty yeares:  Item I give to my Sonn Richard Elliss the sume of one Hundred pounds to be paid to him by my Sonn Christopher Elliss when he shall Attaine the Age of one and Twenty yeares I give to my Sonn Thomas Elliss the sume of One Hundred pounds to be paid to him by my Sonn Christopher Elliss when he shall Attaine the Age of one and Twenty yeares  And to the Intent Theire aforesaid Legacyes before mentioned shall be well and Truly paid I doe Tye my Close of Pasture Called the ssheate Close And the greate Hookes and the two little Hookes And three Acres of Meadowing bee it more or less Lyeing in Thrupp ffield all w[hi]ch p[ar]cell of Land before mentioned I doe give to my Sonn Christopher Elliss upon this Condition that he pay to my Three younger Sonns before mentioned theire severall Legacyes at theire severall Ages Aforesaid  Item I doe give and bequeath unto my Daughter Mary Elliss the sume of Threescore pounds to bee paid to her by my Executors hereafter named when she shall Attaine to the Age of one and Twenty yeares  Item I doe give and bequeath to my Daughter Sara the sume of Threescore pounds to be paid to her by my Executors when she shall Attaine to the Age of one and Twenty yeares  And alsoe my mind and will is That if any of my ffive Children Barnard Richard and Thomas Mary and Sara doe happen to depart this Life before they shall attaine the Age of one and Twenty yeares That then his or her portrion aforesaid shall be Equally devided betwixt the Survivor of them And I ordaine and Appoint my loveing Wife Mary Elliss Sole Executrix and my loveing Brother Richard Elliss and my loveing Kinsman William ffoskett of North Crawley yeoman and Richard Perrott of newport pagnell Gent Executors in trust for the Assistance of my Deare and loveing Wife and alsoe my will and mind further is that my loveing Wife shall have hold and Enjoy and receive the Issues Rents and profitts of All my Lands and Tenements untill my Sonn Christopher doe Attaine unto the Age of one and Twenty yeares for the Education and maintenance ........  And I doe declare This to be my last will and testament dated this 22nd day ffebruary 1686  The signe of Christopher Elliss sealed and delivered in the presents of Thomas ....
