In the Name being this  of God Amen I William Trulove of Hanslop in ye County of Bucks Backer Twelfth day of January in ye yeare of o[u]r Lord 1668 and in ye Twentieth yeare of ye Raigne of o[u]r most gracious Son Lord Charles ye Second of England Scotland ffrance and Ireland King defender of ye ffaith being very weake in body but of perfect sense and memory blessed be to god for ye same do ordaine Constitute and make this to be my last Will and testament in manner and forme ffollowing ffirst I will and I do give my Soule into ye handes of Allmighty God who gave it me and to Jesus Christ my Saviour and redeemer in whome I holy relye for ye redemption hereof and my Body to be decently buride in Sorte and ranke according to my degree and as for my worl[dl]y goodes house and Close w[it]h all ye rest of my Stocke goodes Chatells and Cattell w[it]h all ye rest both moveable and unmoveable I will and I do give in manner and forme ffollowing  Imprimis I will and I do give to my eldest Sonne William Trulove to his heires that shall be by him Lawfully begotten all that my dwelling house w[it]h ye yarde garden and orchard w[it]h ye barne and all other outhouses thereunto belonging forever and for want of such issue then to my Sonne Edward Trulove and to his heires that shall be by him Lawfully begotten and for want of such issue then to my Daughter Elizabeth Trulove  and to her heires and assignes forever  Item I will and doe give and bequeath all that my Close w[hic]h I latly purchased of William fforster Esq to be equally devided betweene my Sonne Edward Trulove and my Daughter Elizabeth Trulove to be devided betweene them at the age of One and twenty yeares of age of ye said Elizabeth Trulove but my will is that if either ye said Edward or ye said Elizabeth do depart this Life befour there respective heires then ye ....... to remane to ye Sircciccor (successor) of them and if that they both  shall depart this Life  befour they come to theire respective ages then my Will is that ye said Close shall remane to my Sonne William Trulove and to his heires and assignes for ever and my will is further that if ye said Edward and Elizabeth do live to come to injoye ye same that it be sold by my executor heareafter by me named and ye money to be be equally devided between them two   Item all ye rest of my Goodes Chattells and Catell I will and do give and bequeath hererof after my said children.... of all brought pay to be equally devided betweene ye said Edward and Elizabeth Trulove for ever  Item I do give to my Brother Thomas Trulove my best and newest suite of aparrel  Item I will and do give to my Brother Robert Trulove ye sume of ffive shillin[g]s of lawfull money  Item I will and do give to my Brother Edward Trulove in legacy I have bound to him for my Brother Thomas ....... ye sume of fforty shillin[g]s toward ye bond with my best hatt and a pare of shooes and stockin[g]s  item I do give to my Cosen Elizabeth Saving my second best hatt and two other best handkerchiefes Lastly I do intreat appoint my trusty and well beloved Brother in lawe Mr Nathaniel Netmaker Minister and my Unckell William Ashby and my neighbour Christopher Scriven to be my lawfull Executors in trust for ye use and good of my two children before named and for their care herein I do give each of them 2s 6d  apeece to by them either of them a pair of gloves withall and do publish and declare this to be my last Will and testament in ye presence of us ye marke of Mary Mynard ye marke of Susana Webbe

This is to verify for whom it may conserne that I Christopher Scriven renounce the proufing of William Truloves Will  wheare unto I hafe set my hand February the 22 1668   Chrishopher Scriven

Written by the said Christopher Scriven w[i]th his owne hand  Witnesse William Ashby

The condicon of this obligation is such that if the above            William Ashby clerk and one of the Executors named in the last will and Testament of William Trulove late of Hanslapp of the Archdeaconry of Bucks deceased

Doe from tyme to tyme and at all tymes hereafter well and truly execute fullfill and performe the sayd last will and Testament of the sayd deceased In payeinge his debts and legacyes and in every respect observing the same according to the tenor purport exigence and true meanings of the sayd last will and Testament of the sayd deceased; then this p[rese]nt obligation to be void and of none effect or els to stand and be in force and vertue
