In the name of god Amen the viij day of April Anno Dom 1608 I Dorothy Travell of Hanslapp in the countie of Bucks Scooledame being sick of my body but of good and perffect remembrance thanks be to allmightie god doe make and ordayne this my last will and testament in manner and fforme ffollowing:  ffirst I bequeath my soule to allmightie god my maker trusting onely to be saved by the merrits death and passion of Jesus Christ my redeemer and saviour and my body to be buried in the church yard of Hanslapp one the south side of the church  Item I bequeath to the mother church of Lincolne ij d  Item I bequeath to my ffather Robert Travell x s   Item I bequeath to my brother Henry Travell v s  Item I bequeath to my sister Anne Travell xx s a sheepe a mark and a neckerchief   Item I bequeath to my brother Thomas Travell  x  s  Item I bequeath to to my sister Ame Travell x s  Item I bequeath to my sister Mary Travell xx s  my best gowne my best bustle two neckerchiefs one of them to be my best ... and a paire of stockins and a hat  Item I give to my sister Elizabeth Coursey my best hat my old gowne ij petticoats ij smocks ij kerchiefs and a neckerchief  Item I bequeath to my Cosen Robert Travell v s  Item I bequeath to my cosen Ann Travell v s  Item I give to my godson Christopher Coursey v s and a sheepe with her lam  Item I bequeath to my Cosen Lettis Coursey v s  Item I bequeath to my cosen  Ann Coursey  v s  Item I bequeath to my cosen Elizabeth Coursey  v s  Item I bequeath to the poore people of Hanslapp vi s  the rest of all my goods and cattels unbequeathed I doe give and bequeath to my ffather Robert Travell whom I doe appoynt to be my wholl executor to see this my last will and testament truly perfformed fullfilled and kept:  my debts being payd and my ffuneralls discharged and I doe constitute and make Mark Travell and Henry Travell my brothers overseers to this my last will and testament justly to be perfformed and fullfilled in every poynt  and for their paynes I give them vj d. apeece In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand the day and yere above written before these witnesses Mark Travell his mark Dorothy Travell her mark
