In the name of God Amen I John Fartopp of Hanslop in the Countie of Bucks yeoman being sicke in bodye but of good and p[er]fect remembrance  thanks be to Almightie god doe make this my last will and testament in manner and forme following.  ffirst I bequeath my soule into the hands of Almightie god trusting to be saved by the mercie and obedyance of Christe Jesus my only  gracious lord and Redeemer  And my bodye to be buryed in Hanslop churchyard in hope of ioyful Resurrection  Item I geve and bequeath to Phillip Warde late of Hanslop the sume of three pownds   Item I geve and bequeath to John Warde his brother vj s viij d.  Item I geve to Henrye Harris of Calverton in satisffaction of all Reconings betwene him and me one cowe and a calfe, Item I geve and bequeath all the Rest of my goods cattells and chattells moveable and unmoveable  my debts being payd and my funerall discharged unto Marye Jenkins the wife of Jacob Jenkins of Hanslop aforsayd,  And I doe make and ordayne the sayd Marye Jenkins my sole Executrix of this my last will and testament trusting that she will see my debts payd and legacyes discharged, And this my will accordingly accomplished, dated the second daye of Januarye Anno Dom 1604  These present herunder named being witnesses.  William Lingard Minister, Richard Winne, Edmond Edes, George Hollis, Richard Maynard
