In the name of god Amen. the xxvijth daie of ffebruarie And
in the yere of o[ur] lord god 1614. I Elizabeth Coxe of hanslop
in the county of Buck[s] widowe being weak in bodie, but of
good & p[er]fecte mind & remembrance (blessed be god) doe ordaine
and make this my last will & testam[en]t in manner & forme following
ffirst I comend my soale into the protection of almighty god, the
father sonne & holie ghost, fully beleeving that in & through the
precious death & obedience of my only & aloane lord & saviour
Christ Jesus all my synnes & offences are p[ar]doned & forgiven
me, of the free mercy of god in Christ. my bodie I comitt
to the earth therein to be buried & remaine in hope until the
resurrection therof unto everlasting lief & happines. It[e]m
I give & bequeath unto Anne Coxe my god daughter and
grandchild all such goods & chattells that are mine remayneing
in the Chaunter house where sometymes I dwelt : It[e]m I give
and bequeath unto Alice Ellis my daughter the wief of
ffrancis Ellis all & singuler my Goods chattells houssole stuffe
and utensiles whatsoever, in whatt place or places & in whose
hands use or occupat[ion] soever they or anie of them be excepte
before given & bequeathed by theis p[rese]nts It[e]m I doe ordaine
and make the aforesaid Alice Ellis my daughter the sole
Executrix of this my last will & testam[en]t. In witnes
whereof I have hereunto sett my hand & seale disanulling
all former wills & testam[en]ts whatsoev[er] : do hereby publishe and
declare this to be my last will & testam[en]t in the pr[esenc]e of thes
whose names are hereund[er] written ffrancis Clifford
& Alice Ellis daughter of Alice Ellis aforesaid
