In the Name of God Amen the fourth day of January in the yeare of our Lord 1685 I Elizabeth Lane Widdow being in Good health and of perfect and disposeing Memory blessed be God doe make this my Last Will and Testament in maner ffollowing ffirst I bequeath my Soule to Almighty God beseeching him for the Merits of my Saviour Jesus Christ to receive the same to his Mercy and my Body to the Earth to be buryed in such private and decent maner as my Executrix hereafter named shall think fitt and as for that worldly Estate which it hath pleased God to bestow upon me my ffunerall charges and Just debts being first paid Sattisfied and discharged I doe hereby give and bequeath the Rest and Residue thereof both Real and personall Lands money Plate Jewels household         and all other my Goods and Chattells whatseover to my Executrix hereafter named and Revoacking all former and other Wills I doe hereby Constitute and make my Daughter Frances Lane Spinster whole and Sole Executrix of this my Last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I have hereunto Sett my hand and Seale the day and yeare first above written Eliz Lane Signed Sealed and published for my Last Will in the presence of us Mary Travell Will Panter Jo  Forty
