In the name of God Amen I James Mouse of Hanslopp in the County of Bucks beinge this Twenty sixth day of August in the yeare of our Lord God one Thousand Six hundred and ffifty eight very sick and weake in body butt blessed bee God for itt in perfect sense and memory doe ordaine this to be my last will and Testament in manner and forme following  ffirst I bequeath soule into the hands of Almighty God which gate itt mee and to Jesus Christ my saviour in whome I wholely rely for the redempcon thereof  And as for my body to bee buryed at the discrecon of my Executors hereafter named and as for my worldly goods which the Lord hath lent mee I bequeath as followeth  Item ffirst I give and bequeath to my well beloved Cozen Elizabeth Tapin the summe of Tenn pounds of goods and Lawfull money of England to bee paid within one yeare after my decease out of my estate  Item I give to my cozen Casander Baldwyn the summe of five pounds to bee paid forth of my estate  Item I give to Margaret Skeere of Breedwin the summe of Twenty shillings   Item I give to Anne Bigg the summe of twenty shillings  Item I give to William Bigge the summe of ffive pounds of like Lawfull money  Item I give to Alice Tappinge the summe of ffive like pounds of Lawfull money  Item I give to my cozen Alice Cross of Buckingham the summe of ffive pounds  Item I give to Jecce  Bennett Whiddow the summe of five shillings  Item my intent and meaninge is that my house and Close shall bee sould for the payment of those legacies above menconed  And all to bee paid within one yeare after my decease or buryall  All the rest of my worldly estate and goods unbequeathed I give and bequeath to my wellbeloved freinds John Rawlings Greenend and Marke Travell of the same end whome I doe make and appoynt and constitute to bee the full Executors of this my last will and Testament and to discharge all my legacies debts and funerall  In Witness whereunto I fix my seale The marke of James Mouse  And publish and declare this to bee the last will and Testament of mee the said James Mouse the day and yeare first above written in (the presence of) The marke of Elizabeth Parrott  William Ashby
