In the name of God Amen:  The fower and twentieth day of June Anno Dm 1646 and in ye yeare of ye raigne of our Soveraigne Lord Charles by the grace of God of England Scotlande ffrance and Ireland king defender of the faith etc..  the two and twentieth  I Griffin Glover of Hanslopp in the County of Bucks husbandman being in health of body and in p[er]fect minde and memory thankes be to Allmightie  god, revokeing all former wills by me heretofore made I doe make constitute and ordaine this present writeing purporting my last will and testament to be in manner and forme hereafter specific and declared  That is to say ffirst I bequeath my soule into the hands of allmightie god my maker and Redeemer trusting to be saved by the death and passion of his deare sonne Christ Jesus and my body to be buried at the discrecon of my executor hereafter named  Item I give and bequeath to my sister Grizell Reeve widdow all that my house or tenement wherein I nowe dwell situate in Gould Street in Hanslopp aforesaid together with my 2 Closes thereunto adioyning and belonging or appertayning for and dureing her n[atu]rall life, she comitting noe wast or spoile thereupon, And from and after her decease I give and bequeath my sayd house and two Closes to my kinsman and godson Griffin Glover (whoe is at this tyme imployed in the warrs of this kingdome) with all th'appurtenances thereunto belonging To him and his heyres and assigns absolutely forever (yf he be liveing and shall come againe)   But yf he be dead and shall not come home again; Then I give and bequeath my said house and 2 closes with all and every their appurtenances unto my said sister Grizell Reeve and to her heyres and assigns forever  Item I give and bequeath unto Thomas Blunt my kinsman ten pounds to be payed him within three yeares next after my decease And further my will is that he the said Thomas Blunt shall have bedroome in my said house for him att all tymes to lodge in dureing his life behaveing himself honestly and orderly as he ought to doe and keeping himself single and unmarried  Item I give unto Ann Wimmill my kinswoman v s  Item I give to Richard Glover my kinsman the sonne of my brother Richard Glover v s  Item I give unto William Glover my kinsman and godson v s  Item I give unto my kinsman William Glover of Moulsoe v s  Item I give unto my godson  ....Cowrse xid  All ye rest of my goods whatsoever here unbequeathed I give and bequeath I give unto  my said sister Grissell Reeve whome I make my sole executrix of this my last will and Testament  To this end she shall pay my debts and Legacies and see my funerall decently discharged and peformed (as I doubt not but she will doe)  And I doe intreat my welbeloved frends Mr Lawrence fforster and Henry Newman to be my overseers of this my will and to see the same performed in all points     ..  as in them lyes   And for their paynes I give them xid a peece.  Griffin Glover  In witnes that this is my last will and Testament I have hereunto sett my hand and seale the day and yeare above written in the presence of us being wittnesses (the word two being first interlyned)  Laurence fforster Henry Hall  Christopher Panter
