In the name of God Amen  this seaventh daye of August 1627 And in the thyrde yeto my brother are of the Raigne of our  Soveraigne Lord Charles by the grace of god  kinge of great Brytaine ffrance and Ireland defender of the ffaithe etc  I Thomas Barber of Hanslapp in the Countye of Bucks gent  beinge sicke in bodye but in p[er]fect memorye thankes be to God doe make and ordayne this my Last Will and Testament in manner and fforme followinge.  That is to saye.  ffirst I committ my Soule in to the hands of Almightye God my maker and Redeemer and my bodye to be buryed in the Churche of Hanslapp aforesayd.  Item I doe make Mr Thomas  Rolfe of Hanslapp aforesayd gent my sole and lawfull Executor  Item I doe geve and bequeathe to my brother William Barbers daughter Sara Barber, ffive pownds.  Item I doe geve unto my sayd Brothers daughter Anne Barber ffive pownds.  Item I doe geve unto my sayd Brothers daughter Joane Barber ffive pownds.  I tem I doe geve unto my sayd Brothers daughter Luce Barber ffive pownds. Item I doe geve unto my Sister Elizabeth Russell ffive pownds  Item I doe geve to my sister Jane Mablye ffive pownds. In witness whereof I the sayd Thomas Barber have hereunto sett my hand and seale the daye a yeare firste above written.  Signed Thomas Barber  Item I doe make Mr Henrye Cotes of Hanslapp and Mr Lawrence fforster of the same my overseers for the performance of this my sayd Will and for that I geve them xij d a peece   Witnesses to this Will  To[by] Tarry  John Mably  ffrauncis Curzon
