In the name of god Amen I Richard Garrett of Hanslopp in the countie of Bucks wickerman sicke of bodie, but of perfect memorie, thankes be unto god thearefore doe make this my last will and testament the thirtieth daie of July anno dom 1637: in manner and forme followinge;  Imprimis I comitt my soule into the handes of allmightie god, and my bodie to be buried at the discretion of my freinds;  Item I give to my wife Eliza and to my sonne Edmund this howse whearein I now live and to the longer liver of them and to theire heires forever;  Item I give to my daughter Jane Parsons one shillinge;  Item I give unto my daughter Anne Garrett the bedd whearein she nowe lyeth with all the furniture belonginge to it, and the chamber wheare she now liys to come and goe and the chimerey to make use of it so long as she keepes herselfe single The rest of my goods unbequeathed, my debts beinge paide and my legacies beinge dischardged I give to my wife Elizabeth Garrett, whome I make executrix of this my last will and testament;  these being witnesses Henry Hall Richard Carter Edmund Tomkins
