In the name of God Amen the Eighteenth day of May Anno Domini 1649 I Grissell Reve widdow of Hanslapp in the County of Bucks beinge in health of body and in perfect minde and memory Thankes bee to Almighty God Revokinge all former Wills by mee heertofore made, doe make constitute and Ordayne this present writinge purportinge my last Will and Testament to bee in Manner and forme heerafter specifyed and declared That is to say  ffirst I bequeath my Soule into the hands of Almighty God my Maker and Redeemer trustinge to bee saved by the death and passion of his deare sonne Christ Jesus and my body to bee buryed att the discrecon of my Executors heerafter named  Item I gyve and bequeath the house wherein I now lyve and my two Closes with all thereunto belonginge Situate in Gold Street in the p[ar]ish of Hanslapp aforesaid to my welbeloved kinsman Thomas Blunt if in case Griffin Glouster the sonne of my brother Richard Glouster comes not agayne to enjoye itt accordinge to my brother Griffinge Glousters Will to him bequeathed  Then my kinsman Thomas Blunt to have Bedroome in the said house Hee behavinge himselfe as hee ought to doe dureinge his naturall life if hee keepes himselfe single  And if in case the said Griffin Glouster comes not againe then to my said kinsman Thomnas Blunt and heires for ever  Item I gyve to my Sonne in law Reave one shillinge  Item I gyve to my Sonne in Lawe and Godsonne Joh Reave ffive shillings  Item I gyve to my daughter in law Alice Reave Tenne pounds of lawfull money of England  Item I gyve to the Poore of Hanslopp Twenty shillings to bee paid within one Moneth after my decease And to be given by the Overseers of the poore then beinge and them whom I shall request to bee my Overseers of this my Will and Testament  Item I gyve to Anne Winnell my Godaughter tenn shillinges   Item I gyve to Elizabeth Glouster my kinswoman a poore maide Twenty shillings  Item I gyve to John Glouster the sonne of my brother John Gouster ffyve shillinges  Item I gyve to another of his sonnes William Glouster ffyve shillinges Item I gyve to my kinsman William Briggins ffyve shillinges Item I gyve to my kinsman Peeter Briggins ffyve shillings  Item  I gyve to each one of the children of my brother Richard Glouster the Carpenter ffyve shillings a peece  Item I gyve to evry one of my brother Christopher Glousters children ffyve shillings apeece  Item I gyve to William Glouster my kinsman ffyve shillings  Item I gyve to Richard Glouster my kinsman ffyve shillings Item I gyve to every one of the rest of my godchildren ffyve shillings apeece that be then lyvinge  And all these my said Legacyes to bee payd within two yeare after my decease   My will further is that my house  and two closes before given to my kinsman Thomas Blunt that if it comes that hee enjoys itt to him and his heires for ever but for want of such issue lawfully begotten then to sume of my brother Glousters sonnes, whom hee shall make his heire  All my goods unbequeathed my debts beinge paid and my ffunerall  discharged I gyve and bequeath to my kinsman Thomas Blunt whom I make my full Executor of this my last Will and Testament  And I doe request my welbeloved ffriends and neighbours William Hill and Henry Newman Overseers of this my Will  And to see the same performed in all poyntes thereof ........ in them lyes  And for their paynes I give them Twelve pence a peece  In witness whereof this is my last Will and Testament I have heereunto sett my hand and seale the day and yeare above written  The marke of Grissell Reeve  In the presence of  Henry Newman the marke of Anne Newman the marke of Elizabeth Hoare
