[In the name of God Amen I] Annie Edes of Hanslapp in the Countie of Bucks beinge  weake in  body but whole[ in mind do make] this my last will and testament January 1625 in manner and [forme followinge]  ffirst I give and bequeath my soule[ into the handes] of Allmighty God the ffather the sonne and the Holy Ghoste and my body to be buryed in the churchyard of Hanslapp aforesaide  Item I give unto my twoe daughters Anne and Elizabeth all my goods and Chattells whatsoever ether in mine owne custody or els to be equally devided betwixte them:  Item I give to my Goddaughter Ann Whitacre  sixe pounds.  Item I give unto my goddaughter Dorothy Cooke one pewter dish  I give un to my husbands godson Edmund one pewter dish  Also I doe make my Eldest daughter Anne Edees my whole executrixe to see my debts paide and my funerall discharged and my Goodes and Chattells to be equally devided betweene her and her sister Elizabeth as aforesaide  I appoint my well beloved in Christe  [kinsmen] Henry Newman and Richard Carter my Overseers of this my laste will and Testamente.
