In the name of god Amen.  I Henry Newman of Hanslopp in  the Countie of Bucks yeoman beinge of p[er]fect memorie thanks be given to god for the same doe make my last will and testament in manner and forme followinge;  first I bequeath my soule to Allmightie god whoe created it to Jesus Christ whoe redeeme it by whose merritts death and passion I hope and am assured to have salvacon and to the holy ghost whoe hath sancified and p[re]served me three p[er]sons and one god whome I doe adore and will acknowledge forever and my bodie to the earth from whence it came.  Item I give and bequeath unto John Newman sonne of John Newman my brother one ewe tegge,  Item I give and bequeath unto my godsonne Thomas Church one ewe tegge.  Item I give and bequeath unto my welbeloved wife Anne Newman all my brasse, my furnice only excepted, and all my pewter, and all my lynnen, and all my beddinge, and my best bedsteed, best chest, and best box, To hould occupy and possesse the same for and duringe her life or soe longe as shee shall continewe a widdowe  Item I doe give and bequeath to the poore of Hanslopp five poundes to be paied unto them in manner followinge viz: ffortie shillings within one moneth after my decease, and twentie shillings a yeare upon St. Thomas day till the other three pounds be paied.  Item I doe give and bequeath unto my sister Jane Newman tenn shillings a yeare to be paied unto her by my executors hereafter named dureinge her naturall life,  Item I doe give and bequeath unto my Cosens Anne Perrivall  and John Beeby her brother and unto John Church, Christopher Church and Anne Church three of the Children of my brother Thomas Church and to everie one of my brother Hugh Wrenn his Children nowe lyveinge, and unto William Newman, Marie Newman and Anne Newman three of the Children of my brother John Newman and unto Marie Preston, Elizabeth Preston and John Preston three of the Children of my sister Marie Preston unto evry one of them one ewe tegge apeece,  Item my will is that my executor hereafter named shall seale and deliver unto my sister Elizabeth Beeby as his acte and deed a generall release of all accons debts and demands from the beginninge of the world untill the daie of my decease,  And shall alsoe satisfy and pay unto Sir Robert Banister the sume of tenn pounds wherein I stand bound with my said sister Beeby by bond and for her proper debte;  Provided allwaies and my will is that in case my said wife Anne shall after my decease release unto my said sonne henry her estate, right and title which shee hath in the lands lately setled upon her by one Indenture made by me of the one p[ar]te and Nicholas Jarman and my brother John Newman of the other p[ar]te bearinge date the fower and twentieth daie of October last past before the date hereof that then my said sonne Henry shall secure  and paie unto her out of the said lands sixtene pounds in and dureing her naturall life to be paied unto her quarterly which I desire and hope shee will accepte of and take in full satisfaccon of her estate therein granted  Item my will is that my Cosen William Newman and my said sonne Henrie shall have the lettings and settings of all those tenements lands and goodes late belonginge to Robert newman late of Newporte deceased and which was comitted to me by the said Robert in trust for the use and benefitt of the Children of the said Robert Newman as by his last will appeareth.  All the rest of my goods Cattells Chattells plate household stuffe an p[er]sonall estate whatsoever unbequeathed my debts and legacies paied and my funerall expences discharged  I doe give and bequeath unto my said sonne Henry Newman whome I doe make ad ordaine my sole executot of this my last will and testament. And I doe appointe and ordaine my brother John Newman and Hugh Wrenn Overseres of this my Last will and doe give unto them twoe shillings six pence apeece for their paines  And I doe hereby renounce and revoke all other and former wills by me made   In witnes whereof I have herunto sett my hand and seale the eleaventh day of December in the fiefteenth yeare of the raigne of our Soveraigne  lord Charles by the grace of god of England Scotland ffrance and Ireland kinge defender of the faith etc  Anno domini one thousand six hundred thirtie nyne.  Item I give evrie one of my servants that shalbe dwelling with me att my decease one ewe tegge apeece  Item I give to Cicily Perry wife of Rober Perry fower stricks of mantle  Henrie Newman  Signed sealed and published in the presence of Hugh Wrenn, John Newman, Arth.
