In the name of god Amen:  The xxviij th daye of May in the yeare of our lorde god 1618:  I Isabell Dorman of Hanslopp inthe countie of Bucks widowe beinge weake of bodie, but of perfecte minde and in good remembrance, praise be given to god, doe make and declare this my laste will and testament in writinge revoakinge heareby both in deede and in lawe all other former wills and testamentes by me hearetofore made willed or bequeathed;  First and before all thinges I comend my soule unto allmightie god my maker, and to his sonne Jesus Christe my onely saviour and redeemer verely beleevinge that by his merittes death and passion onely I shallbe saved and my bodie to be buried in the churche yarde of Castlethropp in the countie of Bucks: Item I give and bequeath to the mother Church of Lincoln iiij d  Item I give and bequeath to the poore people of Castlethropp aforesaid vj s viij d to be devided amongest them at the discretion of my executor heareafter named;  Item I doe give and bequeath to my sonne Richard Dorman xij d and I doe heareby forgive him vj lb  which he oweth me;  Item I give and bequeath to Patrick my sonne x lb of lawfull mony of Englande to be paide to him within twelfe monethes next after my decease;  Item I doe give and bequeath to the fower chilldren of my saide sonne Patricke viz: Patricke, Christopher, Willyam and Susan twentie and five shillinges a peece of lawfull mony of England, when they shall live to be the age of twentie and one yeares; and if it happen any of them to decease, before they shall accomplishe theire severall ages; then my will is that the parte and portion of him or her so deceasinge shall remayne and be due to the others sirvivinge;  Item I doe give and bequeath to the fower chilldren of my sonne Thomas viz: Richard, Thomas, Anne and Katherine twentie and five shillinges apeece of lawfull mony of England when they shall live to be of th age of twentie and one yeares;  and if it shall happen that any of them shall decease before they shall accomplishe the saide severall ages, then my will is that the parte and portion of him or her so deceasinge shall remayne and be due, to the others sirvivinge;  Item I give and bequeath to Luce Mericke my daughter twelfe pence;  Item I give and bequeath to Bartholemew Hamman and to Jane Meadeflower the chilldren of my said daughter Luce xx d a peece of lawfull mony of England; Jane to be paide within one yeare after my decease, and the said Bartholemew to be paide when he shall accomplishe the age of xxj yeares;  I give and bequeath to Peter Meadeflower my grandechilde x ls of lawfull mony of England, and a beddsteede standing in his mothers house;  the saide x ls to be paide unto him within one yeare after my decease;  Item I give and bequeath to the six youngest chilldren of my daughter Luce, viz:   Thomas Haman, Willyam, John, Mary, Martha and Isaack Harmam tenn shillinges a peece of lawfull mony of Englande when they shall live to be att the age of one and twentie yeares; and if it shall happen that any of the saide six chilldren to decease before theire saide ages;  then my will is that the parte or portion of him of her so dyinge shall remayne  and be due to the residue of them sirvivinge;  Item I give and bequeath to my daughter Anne Freeman the one halfe of all my beddinge and linnen;  and I give and bequeath to Luce Merrickes three daughters viz Jane, Mary and Martha the other halfe of all my beddinge and linnen; Item I give and bequeath to Christopher Freeman and John Freeman my grandchilldren fiftie shillinges a peece of lawfull mony of Englande, when they shallbe of the age of twentie and one yeares; and if  ether of them happen to decease before they shall accomplishe theire saide ages;  then my will is that the parte or portion of him so deceasinge shall remayne and be due to the other sirvivinge; I doe give and bequeath to the fower chilldren of my sonne in lawe John Merricke of Stony Stratford v s a peece, to be paide to them within one yeare after my decease; All the rest of my goodes and chattells mony and debtes bondes and bills and dues whatsoever after my debtes paide and my funerall expences dischardged I doe give and bequeath to Thomas Dorman my youngest sonne, whome I doe ordain and make the sole executor of this my laste will and testament and I desire my brother Thomas Addington of Potterspire Thomas Kent gent and Richard Scrivener of the same parishe of Potterspire in the countie of Northampton;  to be the overseers of this my laste will and testament, and I doe give them for theire paines xij d a peece; and in witnes that this is my last will and testament I the saide Isabell Dorman have heareunto put my hande and seale, the day and yeare firste above written in the presence of these personns whose names are heare under Paule Boughton, Thomas Addington Mary Scrivener
