In the name of God Amen I Daniell Saxby of Hanslopp in the County of Bucks Grocer being sick and weak in body but by the Grace of God of sound and perfect Mind and Memory praised be God for the same Doe make and ordaine this my last Will and Testament in manner anf forme following (that is to say) ffirst and principally I commend my Soule into the hands of Almighty God my heavenly father hopeing to be saved through the Meritorious Death passion Resurrecon and assention of my own blessed Saviour and Redeemer Jesus Christ And my Body I committ to the Earth to be decently buryed at the Discretion of my Executor herein after named And as for that worldly estate wherewith it hath pleased Almighty God to bless me I dispose of the same as followeth Imprimis I give and bequeath unto my Kinsman John Saxby of Road in Northamptonshire Butcher all that my Messuage Cottage or Tenement in Long Street in Hanslopp aforesaid where in I now dwell together with Nyne Acres of Land thereunto belonging and all other ........ to the same belonging and to his heirs and assigns for ever he the said John Saxby paying Eight pounds .......... out of the same to my sister Mary fforster for the terme of her Naturall life Item I give and bequeath unto my kinsmen John Saxby and Thomas Church all that my Messuage or Tenement in Woodend Lane and my close of Pasture in Rose Lane in Hanslopp aforesaid In trust that they doe and shall Immediately after my decease (if need shall require) sell the same and wih the Money arising by such sale In the first place to pay and discharge all my Just Debts and Legacyes And the overplus (if any be) I give to my sister Mary fforster and John Saxby to be equally didivded between them share and share alike Item I give and bequeath unto the said Thomas Church the sume of five pounds for his care and trouble herein to be paid within twelve months afer my decease Item I give and bequeath unto my Maid ...... and to my boy Samuell B......  who both now live with me halfe a crown a peice Item I give and bequeath unto my Customers that use my Shopp the sume of three pounds to be distributed amongst them in bread and cake within one month next after my decease Item I give to my brother John fforster halfe my wearing Apparell both Linen and Woollen  All the rest of my Messuages Lands and Tenements stock of Goods Chattells and Cattle not herein befour by me given and bequeathed I give and bequeath unto my said kinsman John Saxby and to his heirs and assigns for ever And I doe make and ordain the said John Saxby Sole Executor to this my last Will and Testament And I doe desire and my Mind and Will is that the said Thomas Church be aiding and assisting my said Kinsman John Saxby in Raiseing the Moneys for the payment of my Debts and Legacyes And I doe Revoke all former Wills by me any wayes made or Declared  And doe Declare this to be my last Will and Testament  In Witness whereof I have hereunto putt my hand and seale the Nynth day of October  Anno Dom 1714 Dan Saxby Signed Sealed published and Declared by the said Daniel Saxby in the presence of us whose names are hereunto subscribed as Witnessess in the presence of the said Testator the marke of Margarett Taylor the marke of Elizabeth O....
