In the name of God Amen I Richard Horne of Hanslopp in ye County of Bucks taylor being this thirtenth day of June in  ye yeare of our Lord God One thousand sixe hundred and sixty being Scick and weake in body but blessed be to ye Lord for it in  my perfect scence and memory thankes be given to God for ye same and well knoweing ye unsertainty of manes life doe ordaine and make this to be my last Will and Testament in manner and forme following    ffirst I bequeth my Soulle in to ye handes of allmighty God w[hi]ch gave it me and to Jesus Christ my Saviour and Redeemer in [w]home I holy rely for ye redemption hereof and as for my bodey to be decently buried at  ye discretion of my executrix heareafter named and appoynted and as for my worl[dl]y goodes and landes w[hi]ch ye Lord hath lent I doe give and bequeth in manner and forme ffollowing  Item ffirst I will and doe give to my well beloved wife Jane Horne all that my two Closes with ye two Acres of land which I lately purchased of on[e] Mr Christopher Troughton for and during her naturall life and after ye death of my said wife then I will and doe give boath ye said Closses and ye two Acres of land to my daughter Jane Horne and to ye heires which or shall or may be lawfull begotten on ye bodey of ye said Jane Horne and to their heires and assignes for ever  And for want of such Issue from my said daughter Jane Horne then my will is and I doe give all ye same two Closes and the two Acres of land to my daughter Kingsmill Horne  and to ye heires of her bodey that shall be on her lawfully begotten and to theire heires and Assignes for ever And for want of such Issue from my daughter Kingsmill Horne then my will is that boath my Closses and Lands shall go to Thomas Barker my Gransonne and to his heires and Assignes for ever  Item I will and doe give to my daughter Kingsmill Horne ye summe of fforty pounds of good and Lawfull money of England to be paid by my executrix heareafter named in manner and following that is to say Twenty pounds of ye same at or upon ye day of her marriage and ye other Twenty pounds not be paid till ye death of my said wife Jane Horne and then to be paid by her executors w[i]th in three monthes of her buriall provided that and if ye said Kingsmill Horne doe die befour her Marriage then ye [w]hole sume to determin and be voyd or if the da  die before the mother that ye last be due then ye last payment to determine and be voyd  Item I doe give to my said daughter Kingsmill ye great Chest in ye shop Chamber   Item I doe give and bequeth to my well beloved daughter Jane Horne ye beadstid that standes in ye .... chamber Item I doe give to my daughter Lettis Barker ye sume of two shillings and sixpence and to every of her children excepting Thomas Barker ye sume of one shilling butt to ye said Thomas Barker I will and doe give to him ye summe of ffive poundes of goods and lawfull money of England to be paid at such time when ye said Thomas Barker shall be fiting top be set to an apprentis to bin de him withall but if he doe die before he be put to apprentis then ye ffive poundes to be devided betwene ye rest of my daughter Barkers children  Item All ye rest of my goodes Cattell Chattell and house old stufe and all other thinges whatsoever and whearesoever and of what kind or nature soever they be of  I will and doe give to my well beloved wife Jane Horne home I doe ordaine and appoynt to be my Sole and hole executrix  of this my last will and testament In Witness heareunto I doe set my hand and seall ye day and yeare first above written The marke of Richard Horne  And I publish and declare this above written to be my Last will and Testament in ye presents of The marke of Mathew Horne The marke of Mary Stanton Wm.Ashby
