In  the Name of God Amen the Tenth day of August in the yeare of our Lord God 1694 I John Bayly of Bullington End in the parish of Hanslapp in the County of Bucks Yeoman being sick and weake in Body  but of perfect Mind and Memory thanks be given unto God therefore calling unto Minde the Mortality of my body and knowing  it is appointed for all men once to dye doe make and ordaine this my last Will and Testament in maner and fforme  following (that is to say) first and principally I commend my Soule in the hands of Almighty God who gave it me and for my Body I commend it to the Earth from whence it was taken to be buryed in decent and Christian Manner as to my Executrix hereinafter named shall thinke Meete  and convenient and as touching such Worldly Estate as the Lord in his Mercy hath lent me (beyond my defects) my Will and Meaneing is the same shall be Imployed and bestowed as hereafter by this my Will is expressed and first I revoake renounce frustrate  and make void all Wills by me formerly made and declare and appoint this only to be my last Will and Testament Item I give and devise unto my Sonn John Bayly one Acre of Meadow ground Situate in Goose grove Meadow in the County of Northampton and ffive pounds Tenn shillings of Currant English Money to be paid unto him within One Month after he hath attained to the age of One and Twenty years Item I give and devise to my Second Sonn William Bayly the Sume of Thirty Pounds of like currant Money to be paid unto him within One Month after the age of one and Twenty years Item I give and devise unto my Daughter Beatrice Bayly the Sume of Thirty pounds of like Currant Money to be paid unto her within One Month after the Age of Eighteene years and if any of my said three Children should happen to dye before they attaine to the age herein Mentioned that then my Will and Meaneing is that his or her parte soe dyeing shall returne to my ever loving wife Sarah Bayly my said  wife           to live                  mentioned that if any of     dyeing before they come to age then                   so dyeing                 Equally to be devided and I doe desire my Loveing Brothers William Bayly and Francis Bayly of Hartwell in the County of Northampton to oversee this my Will and to Aid and Instruct my Executrix in what they can for the Good of her and my Children after my decease and for soe  doeing I desire that they should have each of them one shilling to buy them Gloves to be paid unto them with one Monthe after my decease  And farther my  Will is that after my debts paid my ffunerall charges defrayed I give and devise all my Good and Chattells as well moveable as Immoveable to my said Loveing Wife Sarah Bayly whom I make my whole and Sole Executrix Ratifyeing and confirming this and none other to be my last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I have hereunto sett my hand and Seale the day and yeare above written John Bayly Signed Sealed published and declared by the said John Bayly as his last Will and Testament in the presence of the marke of Sarah Ratney the marke of Ann Paine Mathew Waters
