In the name of God Amen I John Gautherne of Hanslopp in the county of Bucks Labourer beinge sick in body but of perfect remembrance thankes bee given to Allmighty God for the same doe make and ordaine this my Last will and Testament in manner and forme followinge  ffirst I give and bequeath my soule unto Allmighty God who Created it To Jesus Christ who redeemed it through whose death and passion I hope I am assured to salvation and to the holy Ghost who hath Sancitifyed and preserved mee three persons and but One God whome I doe acknowledge for ever  And my body to the earth from  whence it came Item I doe give and bequeath unto my eldest Sonne Richard Gautherne and to Millicent his wife and to the heires of theire two bodies Lawfully begotten and to bee begotten One halfe p[ar]te of my Cottage and Tenement w[i]th the appurtenances thereunto belonginge wherein I now dwell situate and beinge in Hanslopp afforesaid contayninge One bay of building next unto the Lane called Wig Lane with  egresse and regresse for fetching of water through the yarde and for all other necessaries to the aforesaid halfe cottage as neede shall require In consideration thereof my will is that my eldest Richard Gautherne his heires or assignes shall pay such certaine sumes of money unto his brothers in manner and forme as followeth I give unto my sonne ffrancis Gautherne xxs (twenty shillings) of Lawfull money of England to bee paid him w[i]thin one yeare after my decease, I give unto my sonne William Gautherne xxs of Lawfull money of England to bee paid him w[i]thin two yeares after my decease I give unto my sonne John Gautherne xxs of Lawfull money of England to be paid him w[i]thin three yeares after my decease, I give unto my grandchild Anne Clark xyd  I doe give unto my grandchild Mary Clark xyd to be paid them both att or upon holy Thursday next ensuing the date hereof  I give unto my grandchild Anne Allybone xyd I give unto my grandchild William Allibone xyd to be paid them both att or upon holy Thursday come 12 monthes next after my decease  Item I doe give and bequeath unto my sonne in law Hugh Clarke and to Jane his now wife and to the heries of theire two bodies Lawfully begotten or to bee begotten All that my other halfe p[ar]te of my Cottage or Tenement wherein I dwell w[i]th the appurtenances  thereunto belonging w[i]th the yarde and backsides and all thinges thereunto belonginge  Item I doe give unto my sonne in Law Nathaniel Allibone one new erected buildinge contayninge one bay w[i]th the little plott of ground now meted devided and sett forth from the yard and cottage aforesaid  now in my Tenure and occupacon situate and beinge on the north end of the same excepted and comprised I give unto Nathaniel Allibone aforesaid and Anne his now wife and the heires of theire two bodys Lawfully begotten or to be begotten  Alwaise Provided they and theire heires and assignes shall have free ingresse egresse and regresse for fetchinge of water.  Item I give unto my sonne in Law Nathaniel Alybone and to Ann his now wife for the use of my grandchildren Ann Allybone and William Allybone  one chest one panne and kimnell one meale skiffe one shelfe one ioyne stoole  I give unto my grandchildren Anne Clarke my ioyne bedd whereon I lay one forme stand by ye bedside  Item I give unto my grandchilde Mary Clake one brasse pott.  All the rest of my goodes and Chattles and household stuffe whatsoever I give and bequeath unto my sonne in lawe Hugh Clarke and Jane his now wife whome I ioyntly with my eldest sonne Richard Gautherne whome I make both of them Joynt Executors of this my Last will and Testament  And I doe hereby renounce and revoke all former wills  In wittnesse whereof I have set to my hand and seale this the Seaventh day of June Ano.
