In the name of God Amen The Second day of Aprill in the yeare of our Lord One thousand Six hundred fiftie and nine I John Heynes of Hanslopp in the Countie of Bucks Victualer being weake in body but of good and sound memory (blessed bee Allmightie God for itt) Doe make and ordaine this my last Will and Testament ffirst I give and bequeath my soule into the hands of Allmightie God my Maker and to Jesus Christ my Saviour and Redeemer and to the Holy Ghost my Sanctifier and preserver And my body to the Earth from whence itt was taken in certaine hope of a glorious Resurrection to Everlasting life by the previous death and merritts of my Saviour Jesus Christ  And for those my worldly goods which God of his infinite mercy hath lent mee I dispose of in manor and forme followinge ffirst I give and bequeath to my Eldest sonne John Heynes which my first Wife bare unto mee twelve pence in full discharge of all Legacie or porson which hee shall or may hereafter claime to have out of my Estate  Item I give to my three children which my second wife bare unto mee (that is to say) Grace Edmund and Joane Heynes tenn pounds a peece of Lawfull English money to bee paid unto them by my Executrix hereafter menconed when they shall attaine to the age of one and twenty yeares  Alsoe I give to my daughter Grace  the bedd with the furniture belonginge to itt now standing in the Parlor  Alsoe I give to my daughter Joane the bedd with all the furniture belonginge to itt now standing in the old Butterie   Alsoe I give to my foure children which my now wife Mary  bare unto mee (that is to say) Katherine Mary John and Charles Heynes Tenn pounds a peece to be paid unto them by my Executrix likewise at     shall attaine to the age of one and twenty yeares  And if any of my foure children last mentioned shall happen to dye before they shall attaine to the said age of one and twenty yeares that then the said Legacie due to him or her soe dyinge shall bee devided amongst the other of them my said foure children which shallbe then livinge  Item I give to my loving Wife Mary the Lease of my Cottage or Tenement in which I now dwell with all the prrofitts and Appurtenances dureinge the Terme of her naturall life And after her decease my Will is that the Lease bee sold and the moneyes equally to bee  devided amongst my Seaven children last menconed or soe many of them as att that time shall bee then livinge  Item I give to the three children of my second wife bare unto her former husband (that is to say) William Johnson, Henry Johnson and Elizabeth Johnson twelve pence a peece to bee paid unto them within six monthes after my decease if itt bee Lawfully demanded by them in their owne proper persons All the rest and residue of my goods Cattell and Chattells unbequeathed my debts funerall and Legacies being paid and discharged I give to my loving wife.  And I doe make and ordaine my said wife the Executrix of this my last Will hopeing that shee wilbee carefull to performe the same    And I desire my loving brothers Thomas Eaton and Charles Smith and my Loving neighbour Joseph  Daukes to bee the Overseers of this my Will  And I desire them to bee assisting and helpfull to my said Executrix And i give them for their paines five shillings a peece  And in Testimony that this is my last Will and Testament I have hereunto sett my hand and seale this day and yeare above written  The marke of John Heynes Signed Sealed published and acknowledged to be my Last Will and Testament in the presence of John Perry and Joseph Daukes
