In ye Name of God Amen I John Kennell of Hanslopp in the County of Bucks yeoman being this seaven and Twentith day of May  in the Ninetenth yeare of the Raigne of our most gracious Son and Lord Charles ye Second of Englnd Scotland ffrance and Ireland King defender of ye ffaith etc and in ye yeare of our Lord god one Thousand Sixe hundred Sixty and Seaven [being] in perfect Sense an Memory and in difrand good health praysed be god for ye same yet knowing the uncertainty of mannes Life nore knowing ye time when I do ordaine and make this to be my last Will and Testament in manner and forme following  ffirst I do give my Soule in to ye hands of Allmighty God who gave it me and to Jesus Christ my Saviour and redeemer in whome I do wholy rely for redemption thereof  And my body to be decently intered and buried at ye descression of my executrix heareafter by me named and appoynted and as for my Wor[ld]ly goods and estate which ye lord hath lent me I Will and do give in manner and forme ffollowing Item I Will and do give to my well beloved Cosen Elizabeth Ellyat now liveing in Cotten end in ye parish of Hardingstone in ye County of Northampton for and during her naturall Life and then to ye issue of her body lawfully begotten for ever all th[a]t my Messuage Cottage or tenement w[it]h ye Close thereto belonging and adioyning situat[e] and being in a certaine Lane called and knowne by ye name of Wigge Lane in Longe Street end in the parish of Hanslopp in ye County of Bucks which I ye said John Kennell purtchased of one Christopher Cowly Late of Hanslopp aforesaid being by estimation of three Acres of ground be ye same more or lesse  With one Acre and 3 Roodes of Arable Land Situat[e] Lyeing and being in ye Severall fieldes in ye parish aforesaid knowne by ye names heareafter named that is to say one halfe Acre Lyeing and being in a certaine feild knowne by ye Name of Bretch feild and one the Middle ffurlong being ye ffirst Lane from Widdow Panters Close headge With one Acre more Lyeing and being in a certaine feild knowne by ye Name of Embers Land one ye furlong next to Rose Lane with ye headge and grasse ground to ye same belonging and ye Slade quite throug at ye nether end therof With one Roode more Lyeing and being on Rowley feild in ye Parish aforesaid one Temons Lill ffurloung in ye same ffeild being a hadland ye land of William Baldwin North West thereof but after ye death of ye said Elizabeth Ellyat and her issue then my will is and I do give all ye foresaid premisses to my Sister Joane Mores for and dureing her Naturall Life if she be then Liveing Item Lastly I will and do give and bequeath all ye foresaid estate  and ye ....  thereof after ye deceses or deathes of all ye aforesaid parties or issues of ye said Eizababeth Ellyatt then my will is and I do give and bequeath all ye foresaid premisses above menconed to my well beloved Sister Alce Kennell and to her hayres and Assignes for ever  Item My will and I do give and bequeath to my Sister Alce and her Children ye sume of Tenn poundes of good and Lawfull mony of England to be paid to hir or to her children by my Cosen Elizabeth Ellyatt if she do live to come to ye estate and within one yeare after she shall com[e] to ye estate to pay ffive poundes thereof and ye other ffive pounds to be paid at ye second yeare and after ye estate is fully come to ye said Elizabeth Ellyatt or to her children  Item My will is and I will and do give and bequeath to my well beloved wife Sarah Kennell all ye rest of my goods and estate moveable and unmoveable reall and personall estate goodes Chatells Catell and money household stufe whatsoever and wheresoever ye same be to be found whom I doe ordane and appoynt constitute and appoynt to be my Sole and full and Lawfull Executrix of this my last Will and Testament In Witness heare unto I ye said John Kennell doe sett my hand and seall ye day and yeare publish and declare this above writen to be my last Will and testament in ye presents of us  The marke of Mary ffary the marke of Mary Brumsgrave William Ashby
