In the Name of God Amen I Richard Parratt of Hanslopp in the County of Bucks yeoman being weak and impaired in body but of sound mind and memory praised be God for the same Doe make and ordaine this my last will and Testament in manner and forme following (that is to say) ffirst and principally I commend my Soule and Spirit into the hands of Almighty God my Saviour ffather by whom of his     and only grace I trust to be saved and re........ into eternal life through the most meritorious death ressurrection and ascention of my ever blessed Saviour and redeemer Jesus Christ And my body I commit to the earth to be decently interred att the discretion of my Executor hereinafter named And as for my worldly Estate wherewith it hath pleased the All mercifull God to bless mee with I  dispose thereof as followeth Item I give and bequeath unto my loveing Nephew John Parratt the youngest Sonne and heire apparent of my loveng brother John Parratt of Warmeington in the County of Northampton yeoman All that messuage or Tenement with the three Water Mills thereunto adjoyneing and belonging commonly called or knowne by the name of Castle Thrupp Mills also Hanslopp Mills with all and Singular the hereditaments and Appurtenances to the same belonging situate standing and being in the said parish of Castle Thrupp in the County of Bucks And alsoe all those three Closes of pasture grounds one halfe Acre of meadowe grounde And the Mill banke unto the said messuages and Mills belonging and with the same now bottom halfe enjoyed by Mark Perry his assignee or assignes And alsoe all those Three Acres of meadow ground lyeing in hanslopp Comon Mill holme now in my owne occupacon And alsoe all that Cottage or Tenement Situate Standing and being in Hanslopp aforesaid with all and Singular the appurtenances and Hereditaments and appurtenances unto the same belonging now in the occupacon of John Smith Shoomaker or his Assignes And alsoe those Two Closes of pasture ground with theire Appurtenances lyeing and being in the Church end of Hanslopp aforesaid in the occupacon of Richard Mills or his assignes heretofore called or known by the name of Ashbyes Closes And alsoe all that Sidley of ground lyeing in Balney fforest in Hanslopp aforesaid adjoyneing to the same Closes and alsoe all that one acre of arrable land lyeing and being in Hales ffield of Hanslopp aforesaid called Cowleys acre in the occupacon of Thomas Rawlings or his assignes And alsoe all that my messuage or Tenement with the Appurtenances Situate Standing and being in Hanslopp aforesaid wherein John Stevens now dwells And alsoe all these Three Closes of pasture ground with theire appurtenances unto the same messuages belonging now likewise in the occupacon of the John Stevens or his assignes And alsoe all these my Tenn acres of arable land lyeing and being in the parish and ffields of Hanslopp aforesaid (that is to say) in Cookes ffield ffoure Acres in Richards ffeild ffoure Acres in Ladyland fffeild one Acre in Waldrons field one Acre    which said Tenn acres of land now are in the occupacon of Mr William Jones And alsoe all these my two Closes the appurtenances called or knowne by the severall names of preests Croft and Ringsale lyeing and being within the parish of Hanslopp aforesaid now in my own occupacon And alsoe one acre and a halfe of land lyeing and being within the ffields and parish of Hanslopp aforesaid (that is to say)in Breachfield one acre in Waldrons ffield one Sidley of pasture ground which said premises last mentioned now are in the occupacon of William Panter And alsoe all those two Closes of pasture ground with the appertenances lyeing and being within the parish of Hanslopp aforesaid adjoyning to Stocking green there comonly called or there known by the name of the Busbey Closes And alsoe all that Close of pasture lyeing and being in the Church end of Hanslopp aforesaid called or known by the name of Maltmakers Close and now in the occupacon of Samuell Allen or his Assigns And all other my messuages Cottages lands Tenements and hereditaments whatsoever and wheresoever within the Kingdom of England To have and to hold the aforesaid Maltmakers Cottages Mills several Closes of pasture ground arable land ley and meadow ground with their and every of their appurtenances and every part and parcell of the same unto my said Nephew John Parratt and to his heires and assignes To the sole only proper use and behoof of the said John Parratt his heires and assignes for every subject nevertheless and chargeable with the severall annuityes or Rent Charges herein by me hereafter devised to my Sister Mary Hillier my Brother James Nicholls and to my maid servant Joane Bankes Item I give and devise unto my said Nephew John Parratt all that Cottage house with the comons and comon of pastures hereditaments and appurtenances unto the same belonging situate and being in Castle Thrupp aforesaid To hold to him his Executors Administrators and assignes for and dureing all such terme of yeares as I now have therein Item I give and devise unto my loveing Sister Mary Hillier one Annuity of paroly Rent Charge of Tenn pounds of lawfull money of England to be issuing out of and chargable upon my reall Estate by me above devised to my said Nephew John Parratt and payable by him his heires and assignes unto my said Sister Mary Hiller and her assignes for and dureing her naturall life quarterly all the ffeasts of St John the Baptist St Michaell the Arch angell St Thomas the Apostle and the Annunciacon of the blessed virgin Mary by even and equall porcons The first payment thereof to begin and be made upon that ffeast of the ffeasts aforesaid which shall first and next upon after my decease Item I give and devise unto my said Sister Mary Hillier the sume of ffive pounds to be paid her by my Executor hereafter named provided always and my minde and will is that my said Sister Mary Hillier shall immediately after my decease at the request of my said Nephew John Parratt my Executor herein named as quick release and dis            all such right tille interest annuity or demand of in or from my Estate either reall or personall by worke of any           contract or security whatseover by mee heretofore made in such manner as my overseers or  their            shall advise and direct which if my said Sister shall refuse soe to doe that then and in such case the legacies and bequests herein before by me unto her devised shall be void and in such case I only devise to her the sume of ffive shillings Item I give and devise unto my brother James Nicholls of Potterspury in the County of Northampton Butcher one Annuity or years by Rent Charge of ffive pounds of lawfull money of England to be in like manner Issueing out of and chargeable upon my reall Estate above devised to my said Nephew John Parratt and payble by him his heires and assignes unto my said Brother James Nicholls and his assignes for and dureing his naturall life quarterly att the ffeasts of St John the Baptist St Michael the Arch Angel St Thomas the Apostle And and the Annunciacon of the blessed virgin Mary by even and equall porcons the ffirst payment there of to begin and be made upon the ffeast of the ffeasts aforesaid which shall ffirst and next happen after my decease  Item I give and devise unto my Maid servant Joane Bankes one Annuity or yearely rent Charge of ffourty shillings of lawfull money of England to be likewise issueing out of and chargeable uppon my Reall Estate above by mee devised to my said Nephew John Parratt and payable by him his heires or assignes unto the said Joane Bankes and her assignes for and during her naturall life quarterly att the ffeast of St John the Baptist St Michaell the Arch Angel St Thomas the Apostle and the Annunciacon of the Blesses virgin Mary by even and equall porcons the first payment thereof to begin and be made upon that ffeast of ffeasts aforesaid which shall first and next happen after my decease Item I give unto Richard Parratt sonne of my Late Brother Thomas Parratt the sume of one shilling Item I give unto John Parratt one other of the sonnes of my said Brother Thomas Parratt the sume of Tenn Shillings Item I give to ffrancis Parratt one other of the Sonns of my said late Brother Thomas Parratt the sume of Tenn Shillings Item I give unto Joseph Parratt one other of the Sonns of my said Brother Thomas Parratt the sume Tenn shillings Item I give unto my Brother Richard Nicholls of Castle Thrupp the sume of Tenn pounds to be paid him by my Executor herein named within one yeare next after my decease upon Condicon nevertheless that my said Brother Richard Nicholls shall within Three months next after my decease Release acquitt and discharge my said Nephew John Parratt and his heires and assignes the paroly ffee farme rent of ffive shillings now chargeable upon the ffoure Acres of Land lyeing in the Severall fields of Castle Thrupp aforesaid which I lately purchased of him which if hee shall neglect or refuse to doe the above menconed Legacy of Tenn pounds hereby by me too him bequeathed shall be void And then in Such case I onely give ands devise to him the summe of ffive Shillings All the rest residue and remainder of my personall Estate goods and Chatttells whatsoever and of what nature and kindsoever after my Debts legacies and ffunerall Expences are paid and Discharged I give and devise unto my said Nephew John Parratt And I do hereby constitute and appoint my Said Nephew John Parratt Sole Executor of this my last will and Testament and I do hereby nominate and appoint Richard How of Hanslopp aforesaid Grazier And Thomas Pomfrett of Newport Pagnell in the same County Gent overseers of this my Last will and Testament desireing them to be aiding and assisting to my said Executor in the due Execucon of this my will And I doe hereby give unto my Said overseers ffive pounds a peece for their care and paines therein Item I give and devise unto my Said Maid Servant Joan Bankes the Summe of ffive pounds to bee paid by my Executor herein named within one year next after my decease And I doe hereby revoke and make void all former wills and Codicills by me in any wayes heretofore made or declared And I doe hereby declare this my Last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I have hereunto sett my hand and seale the second day of Aprill in the ffifth yeare of the Reigne of our Sovereign Lady Anne by the Grace of God of England Scotland ffrance and Ireland Queen Defender of the ffaith Anno Dom 1706 Ric.
