In the name of God Amen the second day of August Anno Dom 1667 I Henry Petty of Hanslap in the County of Bucks Yeoman being sick in body but of good and perfect remembrance thanks be to almighty God do make and set downe this my Last will land Testament in manner an forme following.  ffirst I bequeath my Soul to Almighty God my maker trusting to be saved by my Redeemer Jesus Christ and my body to be buried in the burying place of Hanslap aforesaid

Item I give and bequeath to my Grandson William Johnson the summe of Twenty pounds of currant English mony

Item I give and bequeath to Jane Johnson my daughter the summe of five pounds of like currant English mony

Item I give and bequeath to my Grandchildren Thomas Johnson Henry Johnson and Jane Johnson the summes of Twenty Shillings a piece of like Lawfull English mony. And I doe by this my Last will and Testament ordaine and make Jane Petty my wife my sole and only Executor of this my Last will and Testament and to her the said Jane Petty I doe give and bequeath all the rest of my goods and Chattels whatsoever to see my debts paid and my funerall discharged.  And I doe intreat and desire my welbeloved friends John Rawlines and John Scriven of Hanslap aforesaid yeomen to be my overseers to see this my Last will and Testament justly performed and fulfilled within two yeares next after it shall please God to call me out of this world in witness whereof I have hereunto put my hand and seale the day and yeare first above written Signed and sealed in the presence of John fforster the marke of Tho: Walker
