In the name of God Amen this eighteenth day of May in the year of our Lord God 1711  I Margarett Lawton of Hanslopp in the County of Bucks widdow being of perfect Mind and Memory thanks be given unto God therefour calling unto Mind the Mortality of my body and knowing that it is appointed for all men once to Dye Doe make and ordaine this my last Will and Testament (that is to say) Principally and first of all I give and Recomend my Soule into the hands of God that gave it and for my body I comend it to the Earth to be buryed in a Christian like and decent manner at the Discretion of my Executor Nothing doubting  but at the Generall Resurecon I shall receive the same again by the Mighty power of God and as touching such worldly Estate as it has pleased God to bless me in this life........ I give Devise and Dispose of the same in the following Manner and forme Imprimis I give and bequeath to my Son John Rawlings the sume of five pounds of good and Lawfull Money of Great Brittaine to be raised and Levyed out of my Stock to be paid within one year after my Decease Item I give and bequeath to Mary ff..... my Daughter the sume of five pounds of like Lawfull Money to be paid her within one yeare after my Decease and likewise to be Levyed out of my stock together with the Curtains that are about my own bedd and all my wearing cloathes both Linen and Woollen with my biggest Brass Kettle  and the Great Chest in my Chamber and the ioyn (iron) box in my Chamber  Item all the rest of my household goods and Moveables I give and bequeath to my Son Daniel Rawlings whom I likewise Constitute make and ordaine my only and sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament ffreely by him to be possessed and enjoyed And I doe hereby utterly Disallow Disannull and Revoke all and every other former Testaments Wills Legacyes Requests and Executors by me in any way to be found this time Named Willed and bequeathed ratifying and confirming this and no other to be my last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I have hereunto sett my hand and seal the day and yeare above written Margarett Lawton her mark Signed Sealed published nominated and Declared by the said Margarett Lawton to be her last Will and Testament in the presence of us the Subscribers William Winmill  Robert Vaus his mark Robert Vaus Jun
