In the Name of God Amen I William Johnson of Hanslap in the County of Bucks Yeoman being in health and of disposeing mind and Memory doe make my last Will and Testament in maner ffollowing First I bequeath my Soule to Almighty God in hopes of Eternall Salvation through the Merits of  my Saviour Jesus Christ and my Body to be buryed with Christian Buryall And as to my Estate Reall and personall dispose thereof as ffolloweth Imprimis all that my little parcel or pightle of ground contayneing by Estimation halfe a roode situate in the Church End of Hanslap and by me purchased of Edward Rawlins in or about the yeare 1688 together with the little house or Cottage I have built thereon and now dwell in with the appurtenances I give devise and bequeath to John Rawlins Sen. of Hanslap aforesaid husbandman and John Rawlins Jun. of the same husbandman and the Survivor of them and to the heirs and assignes of such Survivor To have and to hold the said parcel or pightle of ground with the appurtenances unto the said John Rawlins Sen. and John Rawlins Jun. and the Survivors of them and the heirs and Assignes of such Survivors for ever to the severall uses hereinafter mentioned and to or for noe other use whatsoever (that is to say) To the use of me the said William Johnson for and dureing my Natural life and from and Imediately after my decease to the use of Dorothy my Wife for and dureing her Natural life And from and Imediately after the death of the Survivors of us the said William and Dorothy to the use of Hester Brittain Wife of Jonathon Brittain and daughter of me the said William Johnson for and dureing the Natural life of the said Hester and from and Imediately after her decease to the use of Elizabeth Brittain daughter of the said Jonathon and Hester and the heire of the Body of the said Elizabeth Brittain .........Issuing  And in default of such Issue to the use of the Right heires of me the said William Johnson forever Item I give all and Singular my Goods Chattells and personall Estate whatsoever to the said John Rawlins the younger his Executors and Administrators In Trust and for the use of the said Elizabeth Brittain her Executors and Administrators Nevertheless my Will is that the said John Rawlins Jun. his Executors and Administrators permitt my said Wife to have the use of all my household goods dureing her life and also permitt my said daughter after my Wifes decease to have the use of the said household goods dureing her life Item I give to the said Jonathon Brittain Sixpence in full of all demands And of this my Will I make my said daughter Hester Brittain Executrix In Witness whereof I have hereto Subscribed my marke and sealed and published the same to be my last Will this twenty ffourth day of March Anno Dom 1685 in the second yeare of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord James the second of England King  William Johnson his marke subscribed sealed and published to be his last Will and Testament in presence of John Bavington Adam Harrold  W Vaughan
