In ye Name of God Amen I Joane Scriven of Hanslopp in ye County of Bucks widdowe being this last day of December in yeTwelfth  yeare of  ye Raign of our most gracious Kinge Charles ye Second and in ye yeare of our Lord one Thousand Sixe Hundred and Sixty growne very aged and weake in body and by reason ..... of knowing my time of population for this life draweth neare at hand doe ordayne and make this to be my last Will and Testament in manner and forme following    First I bequeath my Soule into ye handes of Allmighty god who gave it to mee and Jesus Christ his only Sonne and my Saviour and Redeemer in [w]home I wholy rely for the redemption thereof  and my Body to be decently buried at the discretion of my executors heareafter by me named and appoynted  And as for my worldly goodes Chatells and hous[h]old stufe the Lord hath lent mee I will and doe give in manner and forme as followeth Item ffirst I will and doe give to my Loving Sonne Thomas Scriven the sume of Twelve pound to be paid to w[i]thin Sixe monthes after my death Item I doe give to my Sonn Christopher Scriven ye like summe of Twelve pound to be paid as before said  Item I doe give to my Daughter Jane Abraham ye like summe of Twelve pound to be paid as aforesaid  Item I doe give to my Sonne John Scrivens ffoure Children ye like summe of Twelve pence apeece to be in their fathers hand for them till they come to age  Item I doe give to my sonne Thomas Scrivens Children (viz) That is to pay Henry Thomas Anne and Joane all ye Children of ye said Thomas Scriven ye like summe of twelve pence apeece   Item I doe give to ye Children of my daughter Jane Abraham that  is to pay Joane Jane Elizabeth Anne and Mary and Robert all ye Children of my said daughter Jane Abraham  ye severall summes of Twelve pence to be paid as aforesaid  Item I doe further give and bequeath to my daughter Jane Abraham one brasse potte one Spitte one driping panne one backe.... and two pare of sheetes two platers  Item I doe like wise give to Joane Abraham my grandchild one feather bed bolster and pillowe case I doe use to lye one and two blankets and one coverlid and two pare of sheets and one pillowe case one  chest and one box and one brasse panne one brasse candel sticke and two plates Item I will and doe give to ye poore of ye parish of Hanslopp aforesaid ye summe of Twenty shillings to be desposed of according to ye descression of my executor and to be given to ye poore by them within Twelve monthes after my buriall  Item all ye rest of my goodes Chatells and hous[h]old stufe unbequeathed I will and doe give to my well beloved Sonne John scriven  And to William Abraham my Sonne in law [w]home I doe appoynt to be ye executors of this my last will and testament  In Witness heare unto I ye said Joane Scriven doth set my hand and Seall ye day and yeare above said  The marke of Joane Scriven  Published and declared this to be my last will and testament in ye presence of us the marke of  Erasimas White the marke of Lettis Bentton William Ashby
