In the Name of God Amen I Arthur Glover Son of Hanslopp in the County of Bucks being sick and weake of body but of perfect mind and memory thanks be given to God therefore and knowing it is appointed for all men once to dye Doe make and ordain this my last Will and Testament in manner and forme following (that is to say) first and principally I recommend my Soul into the hands of Almighty God who gave it me hopeing by the mercy of my blessed Saviour to receive the same againe and as for my body I comitt to the earth from whence it was taken to be buryed in Christian and decent manner by my Executor hereafter named And as touching such worldly Estate as the Lord in mercy hath sent me I give and bequeath in manner and forme following (that is to say) Imprimis I give devise and bequeath unto my Son Arthur Glover that my house situate in  Hanslopp aforesaid now in the tenure or occupation of William Warren Item I give and bequeath unto my daughter Dorcas Glover that my Cottage situate as aforesaid now in the tenure of Widow Carter Item I give and bequeath unto my daughter Judith Glover that my Cottage situate as aforesaid now in the tenure of the wife of Samuell Cooper Item I give and bequeath Amongst my four children one plott of ground adjoining to a Lane called Hollyday Lane in hanslopp aforesaid to be divided equally amongst them And further my will is that my Son Arthur shall have halfe my working tools and Lastly I give and bequeath unto my Son Robert Glover whom I make my Sole Executor my debts being paid and my funerall expences defraid those two Cottages one the which I live in and the other which John Smith now dwelleth in ratifying and confirming this and none other to be my last will and Testament In Witness whereof I have hereunto sett my hand and seale this second day of April in the tenth year of our Sovereign Lord William the Third of England Anno Dom 1698 the marke of Arthur Glover Signed Sealed published and declared to be my last Will and Testament in the presence of Richard Willbee John Smith Math.Waters
