In the Name of God Amen I John Scriven of Hanslap in the County of Bucks Yeoman being sick and weak in body but of sound and perfect mind and memory          praise be therefore given to Almighty God do make and ordain this my Last Will and Testament in manner and form following (that is to say) First and Principally I commend my Soul into the hands of Almighty God that gave it hopeing through the merits death and Passion of my Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ to have full and free pardon of all my Sins and to inherit Everlasting life and my body I committ to the Earth to be decently buryed at the discretion of my Executor hereafter named And as for counting  all that Temporall Estate as it hath pleased Almighty God to bestow on me I give and dispose thereof as followeth Imprimis I give and devise to my Sister Mary Scriven four pounds Item I give and devise to my kinswoman Mary Parratt five pounds Item I give and devise to my kinswoman Margaret wife of John Ingram Milton in the County of Bucks and Daughter of my Brother Luke Parratt five pounds Item I give and devise to my brother Henry Scriven thirty pounds on Condition that he shall not interrupt my brother Robert in the peaceable  possession of what Estate I leave him nor undo therewith  Item I give and devise to my said brother Robert Scriven All my lands and Tenements whatsoever with their and every of their appurtenances situate or being in the parish of Hanslap in the County of Bucks aforesaid To have and to hold the land and every part and parcell  thereof to my said brother Robert Scriven and to his heirs and Assigns for ever Item I give and devise to my Nephew John Brafield fourty shillings per annum to be paid unto him weekly and every week by even and equall portions for and during the full final and term of his naturall life by my said brother Robert Scriven out of the rents and issues of my aforesaid lands and tenements Item I give and devise to my Sister Jane Barton five pounds and to her two Sons ffrancis Barton and Andrew Barton five pounds apiece each of them  All these legacies to be paid by my Executor hereinafter named within  twelve months after my decease Item I give and bequeath to my said Brother Robert's maid servant Robertah half a crown Item I give and bequeath to the poor of the parish of Hanslap fourty shillings to be distributed amongst them in bread at the discretion of my said brother Robert Scriven Item I give and devise and bequeath all the rest of my goods and Chattels and personall Estate whatsoever or wheresoever to my aforesaid Robert Scriven whom I hereby make and ordain full and sole Executor of this my Last Will and Testament And I do hereby revoke disannull and make void all and all manner of former and  other wills by me in anywise heretofore made or declared hereby ratifying and confirming this my present  Last Will and Testament being contained  in one sheet of paper In Witness whereof I have hereunto sett my hand and Seal this 26th day of February in the seventh year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord King George Anno Dom 1720-1 Item I give to my Tenant ffrancis Warwick five pounds and will that it be paid in manner as the rest of the legacies above mentioned the mark of John Scriven signed sealed and delivered by the Testator above named to be his Last Will and Testament in the presence of us who attested the same in his presence signed Anne Parratt Signed John Smith  Edward Jenkinson
