In the name of god Amen: I Willyam Butcher alias Sibthorpe of Hanslopp in the countie of Bucks weaver, beinge sicke in bodie, but of sound and perfect memory, for which I give the lord praise, doe institute  ordaine and make, this my last will and testament in manner and forme followinge;  Imprimis I give and bequeath my soule into the mercifull protection of god the father, sonne and holy ghoste, not doubtinge of mercie and forgivenes of all my sinnes;  and that for the meritts of my blessed lord and saviour whoe dyed for me;  and my bodie I comend to be interred in  the earth in the churchyard of Hanslopp at the discretion of my executor, not doubtinge but that it shallbe raysed againe in the resurrection of the just to a glorious resurrection; and for my worldly estate I dispose theareof in manner and forme followinge; Imprimis;  I give and bequeath unto Elizabeth Butcher alias Sibthorpe all that tenn pounds of current mony of England, which my aunt Norman of Bletsley lately  bequeathed unto me by her last will and testament;  Item I give unto Alexander Butcher alias Sibthorpe my brother all that my free land, which was lately given me, by  Thomas Butcher alias Sibthorpe my uncle, which saide lande lyeth in ffloare in the countie of Northants: provided allwaise that the saide Alexander, shall not enter uppon the saide land, nor enioye any comoditie yssuinge out of the same, untill the twentie six daie of March which shall be in the yeare of our lord god one thousand six hundred and fortie; provided also that the said Alexander shall paie or cause to be paide unto Robert Butcher alias Sibthorpe my brother tenn pounds in the yeare of our lord god 1641 and to Thomas Butcher alias Sibthorpe my brother other tenn pounds in the yeare of our lord god 1642: and shall likewise paie unto Anne Butcher alias Sibthorpe my sister, other tenn pounds of currant mony of England in the yeare of our lord god 1643:  and likewise other tenn pounds of like currant mony of England unto Jane Butcher alias Sibthorpe my sister in the yeare of our lord god 1644:  Item I give more unto my saide brother Robert all my moveable goods whatsoever I have at ffloare in the saide countie of Northants:  Item I give to the poore Inhabitants of Hanslopp twentie shillings;  Item I give unto Anne Harris wife of ffrancis Harris five shillings;  Item I give to Willyam Houghton the minister of Hanslopp twentie shillinges;  Item my will is that John Butcher my brother, shall have and enioye all and singular the rent and rents yssues, profitts, comodities whatsoever shall arise, or growe out of the lande formerly bequeathed unto Alexander my brother untill the time that the saide Alexander shall or may enter uppon the same, by vertue of this my last will and testament;  the rest of my goods, chattells and cattle whatsoever;  I give and bequeath unto John Butcher alias Sibthorpe my brother, my debts, legacies and funerall chardges due, by the saide John to be paide first satisfied, and paide whome I make and ordaine the sole executor of this my last will and testament; provided allwaise if my saide brother John shall at any time or times heareafter molest and trouble my saide mother Elizabeth Butcher from the quiet and peaceable haveinge and enioyinge the howse whearein she dwells or any the profitts, or comodities theareunto belonginge accordinge to the true intent and meaneinge of the last will and testament of Robert Butcher my father deceased, that then the executorshipp of this my last will and testament, formerly given to John my brother shall be voide, of nowe effect in the lawe, to the saide John any thinge in these presents contayned to the contrary theareof notwithstandinge;  and then I make my said mother, the sole executrix of this my last will and testament  In witnes wheareof I the said Willyam Butcher unto this my last will and testament have sett my hande and seale, the 11th daie of may in the tenth yeare of the raigne of our soveraigne lord Charles by the grace of god of England Scotland ffrance and Ireland kinge defender of the faith etc: and in the yeare of our lord 1634 Sealed and delivered in the presence of Willyam Houghton   Richard Troughton   John Wilkinson
