In the name of god Amen I Edward Ayres of Hanslop in the Countie of Bucks being in p[er]fect memory make this my last will and Testament following First I bequeath my Soule to god hoping for the pardon of my sinns through Christ Jesus Imprimis I give to my beloved Wife on shilling  Item I give to my Daughter ffisher one pewter jugg and one brass warming pan Item I give to my Daughter Susan Maull one fether bed on fether bolster Item I give to my Daughter ffishers six Children fifteen shillings apeece to buy them two yewes and lambes Item I give to my Daughter Susan Mauls seven Children fifteen shillings apeece to buy every  of them two yewes and lambes Item I give to my Daughter Jones three Children fifteern shillings apeece top buy them two yewes and lambes apeece Item I give to my Daughter Mary Jones her sonne fifteen shillings to buy him two yewes and lambes Item I give more to him an ell of woolin cloath to make him a coat to be given them within two monthes after my death By my Executors hereafter named Item I give to my sonne Thomas Ayres foure Children fifteen shillings apeece to buy them two yewes and lambes apeece  Item I give to my sonne Robert Ayres two Children fifteen shillings apeece to buy them two yewes and lambes apeece within two monthes after my decease Item I give to my Grandchild Edward Ayres five pounds which is in my sonne ffishers hand when he shall come to the age of one and twenty yeares but if in case he shall die before he shall come to that age my will is the five pounds shall be equally divided betwixt  ye rest of my Grandchildren that shall be then living Item I give to my Sister Audery ...  six shillings eight pence within two monthes after my decease Item my will and true meaning is that if my sonne Richard ......r shall put in any bodie else into ye ......... but ye child he hath by my Daughter Mary ........ my will is that my two sonnes in Law Edward ffisher  and George Mauls shall keepe five pounds in their hands to see ye bond uppon my Sone Richard ......r  Item I give to my Sone Thomas Ayres all my goods that I have at Whitlebury and all my goods that I have at Hanslop which are unbequeathed  Item I give and bequeath to my Sone Robert Ayres my funerall discharges all my goods and moneyes both reall and personall my land at Eckly to be equally divided betwixt my two Sons above writen whom I make my sole Executors of this my last will and Testament in witnes whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seale ye seventh of Jannuary 1669 the marke of Edward Ayres in ye presence of John Wilkinson Sen John Wilkinson Jun.
