In the name of God Amen I John ffortie of Hanslopp in the County of Bucks yeoman being sicke in body but of good and perfect memory thanks be to Allmighty God for the same doe make this my last will and testament in manner and forme followeing;  ffirst I bequeath my soule into the hands of God my Creator beseechinge him for the meritts of Jesus Christ my onely Saviour and redeemer to receave the same to his mercy, my body I comend to the earth to be buryed in such sort as my Executrix hereafter named shall thinke meet, And as for my wordly goods wherewith it hath pleased Allmighty God to blese me, I first give and bequeath unto my sonn John the sume of One hundred pounds of lawfull English money besides what I have formerly bestowed uppon him  Also I give and bequeath to my daughter Ann the sume of One hundred pounds of like lawfull money besides the Thirty pounds or thereabouts which I have formerly given her for which there is bond given to her already in her owne name,  Also I give and bequeath to Mr Peter Tirrill the sume of Twenty shillings to buy him a ring.  And I give and bequeath to Mr James Tyrrell my Masters sonne the sume of five pounds. And the rest of all my goods and Chattells debts and Creditts I give and bequeath to my deere and loveing wife Ann ffortie whom I make my sole Executrix of this my last will and testament  In Witnes whereof I have hereunto sett my hand and seale the Eight day November in the yeare of our Lord Christ  One thousand six hundred fifty and seaven  according to the Accompt now used in England:  Signed sealed and published in the presence of Thomas Tyrrell, Pet. Tyrrell
