In the Name of God Amen I Thomas Muskett of Hanslappe in the County of Bucks Laborer beinge sicke in Body but of good and perfect Memory thankes be to Allmighty God for the same, doe make and ordaine this my Last Will and Testament in manner and forme ffollowinge. That is to say ffirst I give and bequeath my soule into the hands of God my Creator beseechinge him for the meritts of Jesus Christ my onley Saviour and Redeemer to Receave the same to his mercy; my Boddy I commend to the earth to be Buried in such sort as my executrix hereafter named shall thinke fitt, And as for my Worldly Goods wherewith it hath pleased Allmighty God to bless me With I ffirst give and devise unto my daughter Mary (the House, yard and orchard, with the appurtenances Wherein I now dwell which I latly purchased of John Coats) and to the heires of the boddy of the sayd Mary Lawfully to be begoten and for Want of such issue, after the death of my Wife and the sayd Mary I give and devise the same unto my brother in lawe Jerimy Smaldridge and to his Heires for ever. And the Rest of all my Goods and Chattells Dettes and Creditts I give and bequeath to my deere and Lovinge Wife Joane Muskett whome I make my Sole Executrix of this my Last Will and Testament  In witness Whereof I have hereunto sett my hand and seale the one and Twentieth day of October in the yeare of our Lord God one Thousand sixe Hundred ffiftie and eight the marke of Thomas Muskett  Sealed Signed and published in the presence of Anthony Stanton John fforty
