In the Name of God Amen The 2 day of ffebruary 1722 according to the computation of the Church of England John Perry of Hanslap in the County of Bucks husbandman being of perfect memory and remembrance praised be God do make and ordain this my last will and Testament in manner and forme following ffirst I bequeath my Sole into the hands of Almighty God my maker hopeing that through the meritorious death and passion of Jesus Christ my only Saviour and Redeemer to receive free pardon and forgiveness of all my Sins and as for my body to be buried in Christian burial at the discretion of my Executrix hereafter nominated Item I give unto Ann my wife fourty five pounds and the household goods which she brought with her and house harbour as long as she pleases to stay with my Son John Item I give unto my daughter Ann Banks fourty shillings and to her daughter Elizabeth Banks ffifty shillings and to her daughter Ann Banks ffifty shillings and to her daughter Esther Banks ffifty shillings and to her daughter Jemima Banks ffifty shillings Item I give unto my Son Richard the white footed Mare and the little colt and the........ cow and the broad horn brindle cow, the brindle cow as came home from him so often and a score of my best wether sheep and thirty more of my lesser sheep and the best cart and plows and barrows and gears collars what he has...... for Item and all the rest of goods and chattells I give unto my Son John upon Condition that he shall pay all Debts and Legacies and make the full Executrix of this my last will and Testament revoking all other wills and Testaments In Witness I have unto set my hand and Seal the day and year first above written John Perry his mark John Albon his mark Jonathon Pain his mark Joseph York Proved 14th October 1723
