In the name of God Amen the twenty fourth day of April Anno Domi one Thousand six hundred and sixty foure I Josias Glover of Hanslopp in the County of Bucks Yeoman being sicke in body but of good and perfect Remembrance thanks be to Almighty God do make and set downe this my last will and Testament in manner and forme following; first I bequeath my Soule to Almighty God my maker trusting to be saved by my Saviour and Redeemer Jesus Christ and my body to be buried in the Parish Church of Hanslop aforesaid As for my worldly goods which it hath pleased God to endowe me withal I give and bequeath in manner and forme following

ffirst I give and bequeath unto my Daughter Anne Glover the summe of thirty pounds currant English money

Item I give and bequeath to Mary Glover my Daughter the like summe of Thirty pounds currant English money

Item I give and bequeath unto Susan Glover my Daughter the like summe of Thirty pounds currant English money

Item I give and bequeath my household goods to my foure Children John, Anne, Mary and Susan to be equally divided between them, and my will is that if any of my said Children shall dye single and unmarried  that their part and portion both of money and goods shall be equally divided between them that are yet living;  and when the goods are divided that then the elder shall have choise of the said parts and so in order to the youngest.  And I doe by this my last will and Testament ordaine and make John Glover my sonne my sole and onely Executor, and to the said John Glover I doe give and bequeath all the rest of my goods and Chattels whatsoever to see my Debts paid and my funerall discharged, provided that he pay the said portions to his Sisters Anne, Mary and Susan within two yeares and an halfe after my disease  And I doe intreat and desir my welbeloved friends Christopher Scriven Malster of Hanslop and William Glover of Sherrington my kinsman to be my overseers to se[e] this my last will and Testament justly performed and fulfilled, and for their paines therein to be taken I doe give them twelve pence apeece. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the day and yeare first above written Josias Glover
