Magdelen Tompson of Hanslop

In the name of God Amen the xxvith day of October in the yeare of our lord God 1620 I Magdelen Tompson of Hanslop within the Countie of Bucks widowe beeing sicke in my bodie but of perfect memorie thanks be to Allmightie god doe constitute ordayne and make this my last will and testament in manner and forme folowing viz. ffirst I bequeath my soule into the hands of Allmightie god my maker trusting to be saved by the righteousness and meritts of Jesus Christ my onlie saviour and Redeemer  And my Bodie to Christian buriall expecting a glorious resurrection as concerning my worldly goods I give them as hereafter foloweth  Item give and bequeath unto my sonne ffrancis Tompson my Cade lambe  Item I give unto my daughter Jane Tompson a weaning calfe Item I give and bequeath unto Lettice Tompson one other of my daughters my best Cow  Item I give unto my daughter Magdelen Tompson my other Cow  All the rest of my goods unbequeathed my debts beeing payd and my funerall discharged  I give unto my thre daughters Jane Lettice and Magdelen equalie to be devided amongst them Lettice and Magdelen allwayes to have the first choyce  And I doe apoynt Lettice Tompson my daughter to be my sole executrix of this my last will and testament. Thes beeing witnesses by me required ffrancis Tompson Als Miller George Tompkins
