In the Name of God Amen the one and Twenty day of November 1688 according to the Computation of the Church of England I Margaret Travell of Hanslop in the County of Bucks Lacemaker being of perfect memory and Remembrance praised be God for it doe make and Ordaine this my last Will and Testament in manner and fforme ffollowing ffirst I bequeath my Soule into the hands of Allmighty God my Maker and Redeemer hopeing that through the Meritorious death and passion of Jesus Christ my only Saviour and Redeemer to receive free pardon and forgiveness for all my Sins past present and to come and as for my Body to be Buryed in Christian Buryall at the Discretion of my Executor hereafter Nominated Imprimis I give to my Brother Thomas Travell the sume of ffive pound formerly given to me by my Master John Harmon the Elder Item I give to my Sister Barbary Fuson the Wife of Thomas Fuson my Red Tammy Coate and my Silver laster (lustre) wastecoate and a brown petticoate with three laces and a couple of dressings and a couple of shifts Item I give to my Sister Alis Travell the wife of Thomas Travell all the rest of my weareing cloathes both Linnen and Woollen which are not formerly mentioned Item my Will is that all the Rest of my household Goods to be equally devided betweene my two sister Allis Travell and Barbery ffuson Excepting my best helling and the best Chest and what money I shall have left at my departure out of this life which I bequeath to my Loveing Brother Thomas Travell and doe Nominate and appoint him to be my full and whole Executor and him to pay all my lawfull debts and ffunerall Charges In Witness hereof I have set my hand and Seale the day and yeare first above written The marke of Margaret Travell Signed Sealed and delivered in the presence of the marke of William Carter the marke of Susan Coats John Lee
