In the name of god Amen ye 25th day of desember last 1683 According to ye computation of the Church of England  of Evrit Elliss of hanslop in the County of Buckinghamshire yeoman being of perfect memory remembrance praised to god do macke and ordaine this my last will and testament in manner and form following

ffirst I bequeste my soul into the hands of almighty god my macker hoping through the meritorious death and passion of Jesus Christ my only saviour and redeemer to receive free pardon and forgiveness of all my Sins and as for my Body to be buried in Christian buriall at the discretion of my Executrix hearafter nominated

Item I give unto my Daughter Mary Elis the sume of five pounds Item I give unto my daughter Sara Eliss the sume of five pounds Item I give unto my daughter Jane Ellis five pounds and ye goods that was my first wifs so to be Equally devided between mary Elis and sara Elis their five pounds apice is to be payd within ffore years after their fathers decease Item I give my wife all  my house till my sone marries and then I give  my sone Evrit half the house till the decease of his mother And then I give it to him all for ever

Item all the rest of my goods Chatells what so ever I give unto Hannah my wife upon condition  that she shall pay all my debts and legacies and make her sole Executrix of this my last will and testament revoking all other wills and testaments
