In the Name of God Amen I William Panter of Hanslopp in the County of Bucks Butcher being weake in Body but of good and sound memory (Blessed be Almighty God for it) Doe make and ordaine this my last Will and Testament And ffirst I commend my Soul into the hands of Almighty God my Maker trusting through the Merits of Jesus Christ my sweet saviour and Redeemer to partake life everlasting And I commit my Body to the Earth to be decently buryed at the discression of my Executrix in certaine hope of a glorious Resurrection to Everlasting Life And for this my worldly Estate which God of his Infinite mercy hath lent and I doe give and dispose in manner following Item I give to my Eldest Sonne Christopher Panter Twelve pence Item I give to my Grandchild John Panter my said Sonne Christopher Sonne Tenne Shillings And my Will is that the said Tenne Shillings shall be paid to my Sonne Christopher within one moneth after my dissease for the use of his said Sonne John Item I give to my Sonne William Panter Twenty pounds to be paid by my Executrix hear after named when he shall attaine the age of One and Twenty yeares I give to my loving wife Mary All that my Close called Bretch Close lying and being in Hanslopp aforesaid dureing her Naturall Life and after her dissease I give the said Close with all and Singular the appurtenances unto my Sonne ffrancis Panter and to his heires and assignes forever. All the Rest and Residue of my Goods and Chattells my Debts legacies and ffunerall being paid and discharged I give to my Loving Wife Mary and I doe make my said Wife the only Executrix of this my Last Will hopeing that she will lawfully fulfill the same And I desire my Sonne Christopher Panter and my loving Neighbour Joseph Daukes to be the overseers of this my Will desireing them to be assisstant to my said Executrix in the performance of the same. And in Testimony that this is my Last Will and Testament Revokeing all former Wills I have hereunto set my hand and seale The Thirteenth day of March in the xiii yeares of the Reign of our Sovereign Charles the second by the grace of God of England Scotland ffrance and Ireland king defender of the ffaith Anno Domini One Thousand Six hundred and Sixtie William Panter Signed sealed published and acknowledged to be my last Will and Testament in the presence of Richard Parat and Joseph Daukes Proved the 20th day of March 1661 |
