In the name of God Amen I Christopher Ellis of Hanslop in the Countie of Bucks yeoman  being this first day of October in the yeare of our Lord God one Thousand six hundred ffiftie and Seaven being sick in body but blessed bee to God in perfect sence and memory doe ordayne and appointe this my last will and testament in manner and forme following  First I doe revoke and renounce all former wills and testaments by me made and doe confirme this my last will and testament  Secondly I give my soule into the hands of Almightie God and to Jesus Christ my saviour in whome I rely for the salvation of my soule my body to be buryed in a decent  Christian like manner according to the discrecon of my Executrix hereafter menconed  As for my worldly goods I give and bequeath in manner and forme as is hereafter expressed  Item I give and bequeath to my welbeloved daughter Mary Ellis the Bedsted which now stands in the parlour  Item I give and bequeath to my daughter Anne the press Cubbord which now stands in the Parlour  Item I give and bequeath to my daughter Elizabeth Ellis the great cheste which stands in the milke house Chamber  Item I give and bequeath to my daughter Sarah Ellis the Joyned bedsted which stands in the same milke house Chamber  Item I give and bequeath to my welbeloved sonne John Ellis the biggest Cheste next to Elizabeths Chest  Item I give and bequeath to my sonne Samuel Ellis a little chest which standeth in the same roome Item I give and bequeath to my welbeloved sonne Christopher Ellis the summe of one shilling to bee paid within one yeare after my decease  Item i give to my welbeloved sonne Richard Ellis the like summe of one shilling to be paid within one yeare   And all the rest of the perticuler things by me given to bee delivered to my respective children att the daye of their Enter marriage or their age of one and twenty which shall first come being by them lawfully demanded of my Executrix  Item I doe hereby appointe and ordayne my welbeloved wife Elizabeth Ellis to bee my full and sole Executrix to whome I give and bequeath all the rest of my worldly goods Cattell moveable and all my Chattells whatsoever alive or dead or otherwise moveable that are by her to be had of from of the premises onely paying my iust (just) and due debts which I the said Chriistopher Ellis doe or shall iustly owe And my funerall charges being by her discharged  Alsoe I doe intreate and appoint my welbeloved friends Robert Parrott the younger of Hanslop and John Scriven of the same and William Ashby to bee the overseers of this my last will and testament  In Witnes hereunto I the said Christopher Ellis doe subscribe my hand an seale the day and yeare first above written Christopher Ellis published and declared by the above said Christopher Ellis the day and yeare above written to be his last will and Testament in presence of us The marke of Richard Campion Joseph Sheffield
