In the Name of God Amen the Twenty and nineth day of June 1691 according to the Account of the Church of England I Edward Newman of Hanslapp in the County of Bucks husbandman being of perfect memory and Remembrance praised be God for it doe make and ordaine this my last Will and Testament in manner and fforme ffollowing ffirst bequeath my Soule to God that gave it my Saviour and Redeemer hopeing in him to receive free pardon and forgiveness for all my Sins and my Body to be buryed in Christian buryall at the direction of my Executor hereafter named Imprimis I give to my Cousin Margaret Taylor the Wife of George Taylor Tenn Shillings Also I give to her two Children the Sume of Twenty ffive Shillings apeice to be paid within a yeare after my decease Also whereas my loveing Wife being now with Child which if it shall please in his Good time to bring to light and that it shall live I doe nomminate and appoint it to be my Sole heire of all my land and if it shall please God that the Child should dye my Wife shall have the land dureing her Naturall life and after her decease then to my loveing Cousin Robert Newman and his heires Also I doe Nomminate and Appoint my loveing Wife Elizabeth Newman to be my full and whole Executrix and shee to pay all my lawfull debts and legacyes and to Receive all dues and debts belonging to me and to pay and discharge my ffunerall charges Edward Newman Signed Sealed and delivered in the presence of John Rawlings Richard Ellis John Lee
