In the Name of God Amen I Richard Hillier of Hanslap in the County of Bucks Yeoman being weak in Body but of Sound and Perfect Mind Memory Praised be Allmighty God the Same Do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament in writeing in Manner and form following ffirst and principally I comend my Soul into the Hands of Allmighty God hopeing thro' the Meritorious Death and Passion of Jesus Christ my Saviour and Reedemer to receive free pardon and remission of all my Sins and as for my Body I Comitt the same to the Earth from whence it came to be decently Buried at the discretion of my Executors hereafter named and as to that worldly Estate which it hath pleased God to Bestow upon me I give and dispose thereof as followeth Imprimis I give and Devise unto my Son Richard Hillier and to his Heirs for ever All that Messuage Cottage or Tenement situate standing and being on the west side of Stoney Stratford in the County of Bucks and now in the occupation of the said Richard Hillier together with all outhouses Edifices Buildings Ways Easements Comons Proffitts Comodities Appurtenances whatsoever thereunto belonging and if the said Richard Hillier should dye before his wife then Mary Hillier the wife of Richard Hillier shall have all that Cottage or Tenement with all the Appurtenances thereunto belonging dureing her naturall life provided she the said Mary Hillier keeps herself unmarried and if the said Richard Hillier should come to want that he cannott subsist without selling his House and what is thereunto belonging he has the Liberty so to do and after the said Richad Hillier and Mary his wife's decease then all that Cottage or Tenement and all the Appurtenances there belonging unto shall come to Thomas Hillier Son of Thomas Hillier and if the Son of Thomas Hillier should dye before Richard Hillier and Mary his Wife then it shall return to the Children then living of Thomas Hilliers Item I give and devise to my said Son Richard Hillier the Sume of Twenty pounds to be paid to him as followeth (that is to say) after my Decease Twenty Shillings a year to be paid ffive shillings every Quarter of the year for Twenty years But if my Trustees should see occasion that he should want more every Year for them to see that he has wherewith to subsist him with till the said Sume of Twenty pounds be paid Item I give and devise to my Son Edward Hillier the sume of Half a Crown to be paid to him within Twelve Month after my Decease Item I give to my Son John Hillier the sume of Half a Crown within Twelve Months after my Decease Item I give to my Son Thomas Hillier Half a Crown to be paid to him within Twelve Months after my Decease Item I give to my Daughter Katherine Hillier fifty pounds to be paid within Twelve Months after my Decease Item I give to my Daughter Katherie Hillier Twenty pounds more to be paid two years after my Decease provided she alive Item I give and devise unto my Loveing Wife Katherine Hillier the sume of four pounds a year dureing her naturall life to be paid her by my Son William Hillier out of my personal Estate without any deduction or abatement of or for any Manner of Taxes or other payments whatsoever and to be paid Quarterly that is to Say at the feast of St Thomas the Apostle and feast of the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary the feast of St John Baptist and the feast of St Michael the Archangel the first payment thereof to begin and be made on such of the said feasts as shall next happen after my Decease Item My Will and Meaning is that my said wife shall have half my Household goods during her life except the long Table the Clock the Jack the ffurnace the Brewing Vessell the Chese Press and the Malt Mill and after her Decease I give and devise the said goods to my Daughter Katherine Hillier but if my Daughter Katherine Hillier should dye before her Mother then the goods are at her Mothers disposeing to do with them as she shall think fitt and my Mind and Will is that in Case either or any of my said Children shall dye before his her or their Legacy or Legacies shall become payable then the Legacy or Legacies of him her or them so dying shall go to the Executors and if Such Legacy or Legacies shall fall then the Excutor is to pay to his Mother fourty shillings a year more during her Naturall life And further my Mind and Will is that if my said wife shall marry again then the said yearly sume of four pounds shall cease and determine and the Household goods herein before bequeathed unto her Shall Imediately after such Marriage go to my said Daughter Katherine and I do hereby desire my said Son John Hillier and my Son Thomas Hillier to be Overseers of this my Will and to assist my Executors in the Management of my Affairs and Desire you both to see my Will fulfilled All the rest and Residue of my Personal Estate whatsoever and wheresoever I give and devise to my said Son William Hillier And I do hereby make ordain Constitue and Appoint my said Son William Hillier full and Sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament Revokeing all former and other wills by me heretofore made In Witness whereof I have hereunto Set my Hand and Seal this Twenty Eight day of August One Thousand Seven hundred and thirty two The Mark of Richard Hillier Signed Sealed published and declared by the said Richard Hillier to be his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who have  also subscribed our names in the presence of the Testator John Walker   John Cox   James Eustace    Proved 26th September 1732
