In the name of god Amen The thirtie daie of June 1637 in the yeare of the raigne of our Soveraigne Lord Charles, by the grace of god of England Scotland ffrance an Ireland kinge defender of the faith  the thirteenth   I Richard Musatt of Hanslopp in the countie of Bucks beinge sicke in bodie, but well in minde and of perfect good memorie, thankes be to god for the same, doe heare ordaine and make, this my last will and testament in manner and forme folowinge;  ffirst before all thinges I doe give and bequeath my soule into the handes of allmightie god my creator and to Jesus Christ his onelie sonne, my saviour and redeemer, by whose pretious death and passion, I beleeve my soule shallbe receaved into his gratious kingdome for ever; as for my bodie, I comend it to the earth, wheareof it was made, in sure and certaine hope of a ioyfull resurrection at the last daie;  Imprimis I doe give and bequeath unto Annie my wellbeloved wife all this my messuage house or tenement whearein I now live dureinge her naturall life, without impeachment of wast and after her decease to be equallie devided into six equall parts unto the persons heareaftr named, as followeth unto Thomas Muscat my brother and to his fower chilldren, borne by his first wife, one part to be devided amonge them;  and unto Mary Inice my sister one part; and unto Margaret Muscat my sister one part; and unto John Baker my wifes sonne one part, one part, and unto James Baker my wifes sonne one part;  Item I doe give unto Elizabeth my sister twelve pence;  Item I doe give unto ffrancis my sister twelve pence;  Item I doe give all the rest of my goods and chattells unbequeathed unto Annie my wellbeloved wife, to see my debts paide and my funerall discharged; and doe ordaine and make her my sole executrix of this my last will and testament;  Item I doe ordaine and make Thomas Mabely and Richard Carter overseers of this my last will and testament and to see my house or tenement sould at theire discretione to be devided unto the persons before named; and doe give them for theire paines to each of them twentie shillinges, signed Richard Muscatt sealed in th presence of signed Mathew Mabely signed  Paule Gibson
