In the name of God Amen the fourth day of June in the yeare of our lord God one thousand six hundred sixty and two of Richard Phary of Hanslop in the County of Bucks yeoman being sick in body but of good and perfect remembrance thanks be to Almighty God, doe make and set downe this my last will and Testament in manner and forme following, ffirst I bequeath my Soule to Almighty God my maker trusting to be saved by my Saviour and Redeemer Jesus Christ and my body to be buried in the Church yard of Hanslop aforesaid. As for my Goods which it hath pleased Almighty God to endue me with in this world I give and bequeath them in manner and forme following, first I give and bequeath unto Mary Phary my wife my browne cow, one Tegge and a lambe, one feather bed, one flock bed, two Boulsters, three Pillowes, two Rugges, 4 Blankets, one suite of Curtaines, foure kettles, two iron pottes, five pewter dishes, one fflaggon, two quart pots, one pewter Cup, one morter and pestle, one brasse Chafing dish, one iron dripping pan, one spit, one paire of Andirons, one fire shovell one paire of Tongues, one frying pan, four Boxes, one Chest, two Chaires, one foulding Table.  And I doe by this may last Will and Testament ordaine and make the aforesaid Mary Phary and Christopher Phary my Sonne my Executors ioyntly togeather of this my last will and Testament and to them the said Mary Phary and Christopher Phary I doe give and bequeath all the rest or my Goods and Chattels whatsoever to see my debts payd and my funerall discharged and the remainder (after the payment of my said debts) I doe give and bequeath unto John Phary my youngest Sonne  And I doe intreat and desire Nicholas Phary of Ashton in the County of Northampton my Brother to be my Overseer to see this my last Will and Testament iustly performed and fullfilled, and I do utterly renounce all former Wills, Guifts and Grants whatsoever  In witnesse whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seale the day and yeare above written The marke of Richard Phary  Witnesses hereof are John Forster the marke Nicholas Phary

Know all men by there presents that I Mary Phary one of the Executors of this Will for divers good causes and considerations  me thereunto mourning doe give and resigne up all my right and title of Executorship unto Christopher Phary my fellow Executor in witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seale the marke of Mary Phary  Sealed and delivered in the presence of the marke of Nicholas Phary the marke of John Pease  John Forster Thomas Brice

 

The condition of this obligacon is such that if Christopher Phary naturall and lawfull sonne and one of the Executors named in the last will and Testament of Richard Phary late of Hanslopp in the Archdeaconry of Bucks deceased do well and faithfully performe fulfill and execute the sayd last will and testament of the sayd deceased in all things according to ye purport, diriccon, ... and true meaninge of the sayd testator and the aforesaid will then the said obligacon to be voyd or els to stand in force
