In the Name of God Amen I Richard Whitmey of Hanslopp in the County of Bucks Labourer being weake in Body but of good and perfecte memory (Blessed be Almighty God for it) doe make and ordaine this my last Will and Testament in manner and forme following ffirst I commend my Soule into the hands of Almighty God my Creater hopeing through the Merits of Jesus Christ my onely Lord and Saviour to be made pertaker of Everlastinge Life. And I committ my body to the Earth to be buried att the disposall of my Executrixes hereafter named

Item I give to my kinswoman Jane Addams one Coffer one old kettle an old coverlett a blankett a pare of sheets and an old boulster  Item I give to ffrancis Parkins the Sonne of my kinswoman Anne Parkins of Hanslopp aforesaid Widdow the sume of ffive pounds of good and lawfull money of England for and towards the binding and putting him forth an Apprentice when he shall attaine to the age of ffourteene yeares.  Item I give to Anne Parkins daughter of my said kinswoman Anne Parkins the sume of Tenne pounds of good and lawfull money of England to be paid unto her by my said Executrixes hereafter named when she shall attaine to the age of Eighteene yeares And my Will and meaning is that my said kinswoman Anne Parkins shall have the use and benefitt of the Legacies before given to her said Children untill they shall attaine to the several ages aforesaid for and towards the schooling and maintenance of her said Children. And if either of the said Children shall happen to dye before they shall attaine to the ages before menconed that then the legacy due to him or her soe dying shall at the said time be paid to the Survivor of them, and if no survivior shalbe, then I give the same to their said Mother and her assignes  Item I give to my said kinswoman Anne Parkins my Red Cow one great Chest one flockbed one boulster and a brass Pott Item I give to my loving friend and houskeeper Anne Backhouse of Hanslopp aforesaid Widdow my browne Cow one bed Chest one new kettle one bedsted and boulster and my best Coverlett.  All the Rest of my Goods and Chattells unbequeathed my debts funerall and Legacies being paid and discharged I doe give to my said kinswoman Anne Parkins and to my said housekeeper Anne Backhouse equally to be devided betwixt them and I doe make and ordaine my said kinswoman Anne Parkins and my said housekeeper Anne Backhouse the Executrixes of this my last Will and Testament  And I desire my loving friend and Master Henry Lane of Hanslopp aforesaid Gent to be the overseer of this my Will hopeing that he will see the same to be performed  And in Testimony that this is my last Will (Revokeing all former Willes)  I have hereunto set my hand and seale the ffourth day of July in the yeare of our Lord God One Thousand Six hundred ffifty and Nine The marke of Richard Whitmey Signed sealed published and acknowledged to be my last will and testament in the presents of Anne Storman Joseph Daukes
