In the name of god Amen in the yere of our Lord god a Thousand five hundreth fiftie and foure the xv daie of August I Robert Bone parson of Hanslap in the Countie of Bucks being at that tyme hole of bodye and p[er]fect of memory (god be thankyd) doe ordayne and make this my last will and testament in manner and forme folowing  ffirst I bequeath my soule to the handes of almightie god and my bodye to be honestly buried whensoever  it shall please god to call me out of this world Then I will that sinse and befour all other things my debts be truly contended and paid (yf any be owing) Then I doe give unto those of the most porest people of every of the Townes of Hanslap, Belgrave and Aylesbury Twentie shillings to be delyvered by grotes at the lease by  thandes of my Executores or his deputie and by the two church wardens  of every of the said p[a]rishes  Item I will that ther be given in Almes  at the daye of my buriall x ls.  Item I do give unto Henry Bone my Nephew my bottell of silver and gilte called a rose water casing bottell  Item I give unto hym a fetherbed with all thinges belonging therunto that is to saye, the fetherbed, the bolster, the pillow, the blanketts, the coverlett and one payer of shets and the .....joyned bedsted all which shalbe the best saving one bedd with thappurtenances.  Item I do give unto Jane Grene one fetherbed with thappurtenances as befour and xiji   vi    to be paid at the daie of her mariage  Item I do give unto John Wilcocks my Servant (yf he now lyve with me) a .... bedd furnished as befour as rehersed and also a Cupboard and table that I bought of hym and also iiij   in money or money worth   Item I doe give to the use of the poore from the parish of Saint James in Taunton  Twenty shillings  Item I do give towards tha mending the high ways from Northton towards Lymstedd in the said parish of Saint James iij    Item I do frely forgive all suche debts as be owing to me before the date hereof so that the said  debte extend not above the sum of xls  And further I do by these .....revoke and make frustrate all former wills made by me befour the date hereof or by any other person  or persons in my name Testing to my self power and .... at all tymes hereafter during my lief to augment or dymynyshe this at my pleasure   Item I do give unto Henry Bone my Nephew over and above that is mencioned befour my gilte cupp with the cover   Item I do give unto John Wilcocks more iijs iiijd a cowe xx  score shepe  Item I do give unto my servant Edmond Bayly for his payne vii l   xiii s  iii d  with one cowe and xx score shepe   Item to Elizabeth Cowper my servant twenty shillings beside her wage and lyvery   Item to George Turner my curat xx s  one of my gownes, one of my jacketts and one dublet.  Item to  Richard ..... Curat of Castlethorp xx s   Item I do give unto Lawrence Caldwell my greate ... potte .........................................................
