In the name of god Amen:  The xxviij th daie of December, and in the yeare of our lord god 1615  I Willyam Sibthorpe of Hanslapp in the countie of Bucks:  beinge sicke in my bodie but of perfect remembrance thankes be to allmighty god, doe constitute, make and ordaine, this my alst will and testament in manner and forme followinge viz:  ffirst I comend my soule into the handes of allmightie god my maker, trustinge to be saved by the righteousnes and merittes of Jesus Christe my onely saviour and redeemer, and my bodie to christian burrial expectinge a glorious resurrection;  Item I bequeath to my sonne Robert Sibthorpe vij s of lawfull englishe mony an iron crowe and a mattocke:  Item I give and bequeath unto Richard Sibthorpe my sonne, the bed wheareon I lye with a flocke bed, a coverlett, a blankett, a paire of sheetes, and a bolster: Item I give unto Joane Smallwood my Daughter iij s of current Englishe mony:  Item I give unto Margery Clarke my Daughter a cowe and twoe sheepe, a paire of bedd steedes, twoe ould drye barrells, a kimnell, a mouldinge board, the coffer att my beddes feete and my best sheete:  Item I give unto Jane Nicoles my Daughter x s in mony and the other sheete:  Item I give unto my grandchilde Willyam Sibthorpe a cowe bullock:  Item I give unto my grandchilde Alexander Sibthorpe ij s:  Item I doe by this my last will and testament, give grannt and devise unto George Clarke and Margery his wife all the howses and roomes whearein they the saide George and Margery now dwelleth, with all and singular howses landes meadowes comons and feedinges to the same belonginge, which howses with other the premisses, I lately grannted in marriage with my daughter unto him the aforesaide George Clarke for the better advancement of her my saide daughter which howses with other the  premisses they the saide George and Margery shall have holde possesse and enioye from and ymmediately after my decease untill St Michaell the archangell which shallbe in the yeare of our lord god 1618 they makinge no spoile nor waste of in or use uppon the premisses aforesaide;  likewise they shall have halfe the profitt of that my orchard as usually as they have had duringe the aforesaide terme devised, they payinge yearely unto my sonne Robert Sibthorpe xx s duringe the aforesaide terme:  Item I give unto the poore people of the parish of Hanslapp iij s  All the rest of my goodes unbequeathed, my debtes beinge paide, and my funerall dischardged I give and bequeath unto Richard Sibthorpe my sonne and to George Clark my sonne in lawe whome I make executors of this my last will and testament  In witnes wheareof I have set unto my hand and seale this present daie beinge the daie and yeare aforesaide these beinge witnesses by me required Marke Travell  Robert Brayfield.
